The food was horrible, the hamburger bun fell apart the taste was horrible
Everything was so hot and fresh! We went after attending the KC Symphony on Christmas Eve and it really hit the spot. The egg nog shake was the only egg nog based shake I've ever had that actually tasted just like egg nog. It was perfection! My husband, myself, and our daughter all got meals and then two of us got shakes.. all for maybe $35.

1st there are no longer waitresses and you have to order from a keosk and get your own drink. Then I was severely angry when the guy running the grill was very rude to an elderly woman, she asked if anyone was making her shake he said well I'll just stop what I'm doing and go make your shake! I instantly was very angry 🤬. Then my order came and I was shorted around $5 worth of stuff but I didn't even say anything because there wasn't anyone to say anything to so I just chocked it down as fast as I could and left before I made a scene. I'll never be back which is very sad because that used to be a favorite spot. That's what happens when stupid people vote themselves a raise by raising the minimum wage, they vote themselves out of a job!

I dined this afternoon. I appreciate the help when an extra chicken tender I ordered was forgotten. We promptly Recieved the missing one. I am sorry to the staff who had to deal with another patron who caused a scene and was disrespectful when they attempted to resolve the issues. I love this Steak and Shake and the staff there are wonderful and helpful!
The store floors are filthy. My food came out with hair in it. The manager or who ever he was thought it was a joke.. I ordered 2 cups of cheese one was full and one was barely half full. It also took us almost 30 minutes to get our food because they were making to go orders that walked into store in front of previous people waiting. It was a complete nightmare. I had requested to go here for lunch. NEVER AGAIN

The burgers and fries were good, but the shake I ordered was not. It was only 3/4 before the whipped cream was added and there was wwaayyy to much strawberry flavor added. I was disappointed they only use a syrup for flave and not a puree or something with real strawberries.

The grilled cheese was cold and the fries tasted reheated... Still ate them though. The shake was drowning in cinnamon and had an odd texture, I was not fond of it. The staff was lovely, very sweet and good service!
