Update, 11 years later I found a friend who is a member and he got me in and got me a membership! :) The people inside were friendly and welcoming. Yes, it was smoky, that's what private clubs are now used for in KCK since the new laws went into effect. Very nice old school pool room in the back.

I have been to this private club twice, once on a pub crawl and once with a member. I don't know how to become a member and don't plan to find out. Because it's a private club smoking is allowed. Hey, that's cool for them but not for me. After I quit so many years ago now I can't be around smoke for longer than 10 minutes. The bartender has been nice each time I have been in. The customers are more like "what the heck?". I'm ordering a Miller Lite and Jameson and they're drinking Bud - not Bud Light - a true non light Budweiser and no one really has shots. I have been told it's like the old beer bars of KCK when the alcohol of choice was beer only. If you're a smoker and looking for a bar to drink and smoke in - this is your place. If you can get a membership card.
