Caffeinated Piglet

Cozy little coffeeshop and roaster with a relaxed aesthetic. Shop has a variety of home brew tools and merch available for sale if you are so inclined. The roaster is on full display behind plexiglass with bar height seating around it so you can enjoy your coffee and watch the roasting during your visit. Had a cortado and the espresso on grind for the day was an ethiopian and columbian blend. Turned out to be a decent cortado, but the blend just didn’t do it for me in terms of contrast with the milk. Will have to visit again the next time I’m in the area and try a different varietal.

Up, Up & Away!

We adore our neighbors at Sway! We grab a coffee here nearly every day and brew our own with their beans when they are closed. They are a brilliant addition to the neighborhood, the smell of beans roasting in an inviting place to grab a beverage and a McLain’s bakery treat.

One of my favorite cafe’s. The staff is particularly amazing—big shout out to Carly for being the kindest light in this dark, cruel world. Also, the veggie quiche

Sway Coffee Roasters Was So Perfect! I Know Them From McLain's Which Is My Favorite Place In The Whole Wide World So I Knew I Was In For A Treat. The Vibe Was So Lowkey And Quaint And I LOVE that! The Service Was Fast And The Baristas Were Kind. Coffee Is My Absolute Favorite Thing And The Whole Wide World And Sway Did Not Disappoint. I Truly Enjoyed My Bourbon Caramel Latte And Will Be Back To Enjoy The Atmosphere! Thank You Sway!

Coffee is good and it's a great place to go when you need to get work done! Wish they had later hours though.

This is a super aesthetic coffee shop! There are tons of seating available if you wanted to sit and get a bit of work done. The only caveat is that the seats are a little uncomfortable for long work/study sessions and there is limited parking. There's a section where you can watch the employees roast the coffee. It was super interesting to watch and smelled amazing as they did! I got a simple hazelnut latte. There wasn't much of a wait even though only one barista was making all the orders. The coffee and aroma were really nice. I prefer my lattes to be a bit sweeter, so I had to add another sugar packet.

First time coming here and we loved it! My husband said his latte was the best by far out of all the other places we have tried in around town. My caramel latte was so yumm as well. . We will definitely come back again.

Sway Coffee is my favorite KC coffee shop!! How is it possible that Sway has the best tasting coffee, nicest baristas, and yet it is the least expensive??! Great coffee and lower cost are not two things that go hand-in-hand but they do at Sway, and it has me coming back for more and more! Sway's sister store is Mclains Bakery, so they also offer a limited selection of Mclains baked goods which are incredible (cinnamon roll and sausage quiche are my favorites). Drop in, you won't be disappointed!

This place is my obsession. I love the atmosphere and coffee. Everyone is awesome and they bus the tables for you. They have good WiFi and I’ve taken many a meeting from here with a cortado. Also ham and cheese croissant is so good. Quiche is amazing.

So grateful to have this cozy little coffee shop in our neighborhood!! The coffee is some of the best you'll find and the space is a perfect spot to meet with friends or find your focus. The food options are limited, but they're McLain's pastries, so be prepared for a delicious treat.
