I love the food here. I have eaten Mexican food all over the United States. This is just good and fresh. I feel comfortable here. In this little hole in the wall place. Great tasting hot sauce!

The menu is simple while offering so many options on proteins. The food was so good! My initial measure of the authenticity of a Mexican restaurant is the level of heat in their sauces. A medium heat should have a strong kick, and the hot sauce should be a flavor experience beyond the heat factor. Their sauces were great! The prices are great and the food is really good! Love that they offer such variety without making it complicated!

The chips and salsa were great with three different salsas to try. I ordered pork guisado which was excellent! My 9-year old had tacos (carne asada, barbacoa, and carnitas) all were excellent. The carnitas were a little too salty but easily masked when you add the salsa.The service was good , but once I got my food we never saw our server until it was time to pay.The atmosphere was a little throwback to when I used to eat at some old hole in the wall restaurant that had nothing but velvet paintings of bull fighters hanging. They must have been saving on the energy bill because it was flipping HOT inside.My son went to the restroom because that’s what kids do. Well needless to say, he decided to wait until we got home because the cleanliness was lacking. In that note, I noticed the tables were folks who had eaten before we arrived were not cleaned and were still not cleaned when we left (they were not busy). Overall, a place I’ll kindly get takeout next time.

Menudo is amazing!! This place is a good place for a decent meal without any hassle. The food was great and the environment was very family oriented. I could not give five stars only because of some minor issues with service and my order. However the manager quickly handled the issue so I will be a repeat customer. ?
