I decided to come here because of the rating. Very misleading.The place was filthy; the floors were filled with trash. I was going to sit, but not a single table was clean. I opted to take out.The menu is not straightforward when you arrive, and the lady who took my order was not helpful at all. I ordered a tongue burrito, which lacked much salt and flavour. Why would you put cream on tongue burrito?My order was to go, and not a single lemon on the bag.…I understand the adaptation that some Mexican food needs to have outside Mexico, but this was just very poorly executed.

The food was well proportioned , filling, yummy, and inexpensive. The service was swift and kind. The store is bright and colorful, super comfy! Love this mom and pop style shop will be going again!

I am nothing if not an avid taco eater! Stopped by Tacos El Sobrino for a quick lunch, and it was fabulous! The service was quick, and the food was super tasty. I thought that the chicken was a little dry, but our waitress gave us so many yummy sauces that complimented the meat well and added some liquid back. Will definitely be back again!
Food is incredible some of the best street style tacos in KC. Reasonable price and kind workers.
