It is a small restaurant with three tables, pick-up service, and drive-thru. It offers comfort Mexican food, with generous portions that are similar to traditional Mexican dishes. The stuffed peppers are delicious. The staff is very friendly and has a good attitude toward service. Here, you can find dishes that are not typically offered in other Mexican restaurants, such as choriqueso, menudo, and beef soup. They also serve Jarritos brand sodas. Along with the Tarahumara 2 branch, these are my favorite Mexican restaurants in the USA.

This is one of hidden awesome places. . .the deep fried tacos are the bomb!! Nightly specials......but they close at 7...... which is kinda wierd I think .....so come early!!

The enchiladas, deep fried tacos, rice and beans are all great! I’ll be back to try more of the menu. The mild salsa with chips is very delicious and it’s worth another trip just for that. Also tried the queso dip - 10/10

I have been coming here since they opened in Kansas City. This is a family owned business.One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in KC.The restaurant itself isn’t very big, most customers order carry out.I love their Sopes.Most customers come for the tamales.The food portions are great and the pricing is affordable.I wish this restaurant would move to Johnson County area because this location is far from where I live.
Parking: If the restaurant is busy, it can be difficult to find a parking spot.
