The Windmill KC Cofeehouse

The absolute best coffeehouse in KC! The hospitality is unmatched, but you pair that with phenomenal coffee, pastries, and food and you get exactly what this place is- Perfection. I’ve gone here daily for close to a year and I’ve yet to be disappointed. I now work in Gladstone and still take a detour to get their coffee and pastries! Definitely recommend people to try it.

Really cute place in heart of Turner across from Old Elementary School, now the community center. My sis invited me. Fresh ground coffee right there in front of you. Has nice sitting tables couch inside & outdoor flower garden area. Books for children in one area & adult books clo se by. FRIENDLY service older couple showed us the back patio & offered to show our younger one t he names of the plants & flowers. Good selection of pastry, some food, & other drinks like smoothies & sodas. It was my 1st time, I will be back ! Also some nice art & more. Golden Bear Latte was very good ( a little honey, milk & cinnamon )?
Niece had Hot chocolate (whip cream on top)sprinkle doughnut, .. 2 coffees & split a tasty lemon filled pastry only $21 ????

Parking: Only few spots to pull in curbside But lots of parking right across the street at community center area.

Kid-friendliness: Older gentleman ( maybe owner) visited & offered to show my niece & explain all the different plants/flowers on patio but she was headed to daycare at community center . His wife was sweeping patio & had all ready for us to sit & enjoy our coffee.

This is my favorite coffee shop of all time! The food and drinks are fantastic, but I go regularly because of the staff. Whenever I walk through the door I’m greeted by the kindest, most-genuine people. It’s nearly impossible for me to go pick up a drink and leave right away, I can’t help but want to spend more time here!

Delicious coffee with comparable prices to other coffee shops. Amazing service and friendly workers! I stop here if I’m ever in the neighborhood in the morning. really good pastry options also

A hidden gem. The coffee was on par with any other decent coffee shop. Recommend getting the Carmello, iced. Atmosphere was good, but can get a bit loud quickly with very few people in the shop if you are looking to try and get work done while drinking your favorite morning sip.

Friendliest, most welcoming staff. My kids and I stopped by as part of our summer coffee "tour" and just loved it. Rachel, the barista, was so kind and went over the menu with us, and the husband/wife owners were incredibly nice. Their patio area is so cute and inviting. And the coffee was delicious!! Definitely recommend the Maddix for those who love sweet coffee drinks! We'll be back!

This place is so awesome. Stopped in the middle of our road trip and everyone inside is SO kind. Also homemade necklaces and art for sale, it’s all so good. EVERYONE SHOULD VISIT!!!!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

OMG I so looooooove this place! Nice comfy knook smiles and love! The owners are really nice n down to earth. The coffee is excellent!!! Biscuits n gravy is to tasty too. It's like goin home to moms n having breakfast. Very special people. Very special place. I promise you won't be disappointed!!
