What a wonderful breakfast burrito! I know this much….if that tomatillo salsa is made in house, you need to be selling that by the jar in café and at the Merc!

Get there early, they are guaranteed to sellout daily! the service, the lines out the door, says it all. Small and mighty D-DANG-DELICIOUS wish I could give them more stars 🌟

Incredibly delicious danish, croissants, buns, and breads. European-class all! KC has nothing to compete with this small spot with its charming decor and excellent coffee to enhance the experience. Great staff, too!

Great pastries! Intimate, small, cozy seating area. Small parking lot, but good street parking. Well worth stopping by.
We had the pain au chocolat (great, but could have had more chocolat!), twice-baked almond croissant (very rich and indulgent), and a latte.

Just consistently poor service. Staff tends to treat you like you’re a bother for being there at all. Today was the same and reminds me why I don’t like going in after my last break. Even tried to say thanks on the way out and ignored. Last time I asked for extra double shot in my latte when ordering and was told “that wouldn’t taste good” and was refused. I was surprised by a denial of a pretty simple request that I’ve made at hundreds of other places but okay, sure and I just went along with it. Then was served my coffee to go even though I was with a group who were dining in. Pretty sure that was a subtle intentional hint to keep it moving for whatever reason. Amazing bakery tho and coffee is good. Breads are fantastic and the chocolate croissant is the best I’ve ever had even compared to some I’ve tried in Europe. Shame that service sucks though even after you’ve tipped them, which if I ever go back I will not be doing sans some obvious turnaround

I had an awful experience at this coffee shop today. The staff were extremely rude. We were told to order to eat in, but our food was given to us to go. Despite the place being empty, we ordered a baguette to go, and no one informed us when it was ready; it was just left on the counter. When I asked about it, I was ignored. While I enjoyed the food and coffee, the terrible service means I won’t be returning.

Not remarkable really. Coffee was ok, nothing noteworthy. Croissants were good.

Everyone was mean to us but nice to the white people. I guess it’s better if you’re not brown.

The irony of having a bunch of pride/progressive aesthetics but treating the only two POC people badly is pretty funny. I suppose for some, it’s more of an aesthetic than an actual belief.

Such a cute little cafe! Their regular drip coffee was exceptionally good and the cinnamon morning bun was flaky and delicious. Not a ton of seating inside but an overall nice space.

Fantastic pastries, and my friend who likes coffee says the coffee is very good.

Truly, a hidden gem. Absolutely lively in every aspect. A must visit! Street parking is the only inconvenience, but we'll worth stopping in.
