Breakfast burrito is really awesome! Not as huge as a SF Mission burrito, but nicely grilled on all sides and with an excellent green salsa on the side that is just spicy enough to toast but not burn.

I don't see how this place will survive. High prices, no sit down menus-order from a piece of paper posted at the cash register, register automatically asks for a tip up front before you get your food, have a seat, pick your food up at the kitchen window, eat your food, sign asking you to bus your table when done. But it was full of college kids and young mothers with babies. Apparently, the latest generation has a guilt complex for all food service(?) workers.

It was rather loud inside, so we sat outside on a lovely fall morning. The staff members were friendly and efficient. I enjoyed half of a large sized sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, and a decaf latte.
Parking: Parking spaces on Mass are generally scarce. Lots and garages are nearby.

What a lovely place to hang out, read a book, work, or just relax. I love the aesthetics, along with the coffee, and service. If you're in the area I would check this place up for a lovely coffee. The staff is wonderful and it's conviently located on Mass. Parking can be found on the front road or in the back lots. This place is simple and cozy.

We normally come for coffee because we love their iced mochas, but this time we also got a breakfast burrito and a fried chicken sandwich. Both were divine and we have been back since for food as well. Great place, great staff, delicious food and coffee.

To start off I’d have to talk about how clean and open and nice the shop itself was!! That was one thing that I just loved about this place. Of course I need to mention the delicious food they have there omg!!! I got the heirloom tomato toast and it is just to die for ? we also got the ham and cheese croissant, the cherry danish and the morning muffin and they were so incredibly delicious ? plus 2 flavorful teas that I just adored ?love this place so much and it would be a regular stop if I lived nearby ?????

Was invited to a breakfast. The order consisted of Chicken sandwich with fries and Mocha and Peach Danish. The service was awesome and staff was pleasant. The ambiance was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend. P.S. they have two locations. can’t wait to go back ASAP! Amazing

I always make sure to visit 1900 Barker when I'm in Lawrence. Love the incredible pastries - I always get a ham and cheese croissant. I tried my friend's breakfast burrito this last visit and I'm going to have to get one of those next time. The green salsa is delicious!
What I really want to applaud is the chai latte (I got an iced dirty chai latte). It's always a gamble for me to order one of these - when they're good, they're my favorite drink and when they're bad, they're almost undrinkable. I knew I could trust 1900 Barker! The chai has great flavor and it only has a hint of sweetness. I loathe the syrup heavy chai lattes at other coffee shops. Hope this helps another chai latte fan :)
