This place is awesome I wish the patio was a little bit cleaner but that's just a small detail. Other than that the food, the coffee, the service, and everything else is fantastic. I love the vibe of this place.

I love the pastries, but the packaging is making Barker nearly unusable for me. I keep getting open air boxes with no top, which makes it impossible to buy a single pastry to eat later or buy two to take to somebody. It's very disappointing because I used to buy pastries to take to our office staff or my partner.

I love the avocado toast but the portions have changed recently, making it not worth it for the price. It's also frustrating to only be able to access the wifi for 30 minutes at a time when located in a college town.

Absolutely the best espresso! The best I've ever had. I ordered a flat white. The notes of molasses and rich velvety cocoa undertones were so prominent they utterly surprised me. Not to be missed. (The ordering set up is a bit wonky and feels confusing because there is no menu board. No worries, there are paper menus to look at. Get your espresso drinks before 4pm though - they stop serving them at night. 😞)

Breakfast burrito is really awesome! Not as huge as a SF Mission burrito, but nicely grilled on all sides and with an excellent green salsa on the side that is just spicy enough to toast but not burn.
