Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

Worst meal we’ve had in a long time. From the chips to the salsa & cheese dip to the entrees. Very disappointed to have taken out of town guests there tonight.

We love it at Acapulco. The staff is nice, the food is great, and the salsa is really good. They do offer some outdoor dining, although due to their location it cases on a parking lot. But on a beautiful evening it's still nice to sit outside and look across to the green space across the street.

My whole family got food poisoning from here. Really disappointed because the food was actually really good. We all ordered different items but had beans and rice in common. We all woke up at 3AM with bad stomach pains and were in and out of the restroom. To top it all off we had to leage on a 5 hr roadtrip that morning. Definitely not ideal or fun. Be careful if you eat here!!!

This is our first time here and we both enjoyed our meals. The chips were very crisp and fresh. The salsa was well seasoned. The meals were substantial sizes, delicious and very fairly priced. Our server was very kind and timely. We will be back.

We just went to this place tonight for the first time. The waiter brought us opposite of what we ordered and when we asked him to please bring us the correct item he just smiled and never brought. The steak tacos came w nothing and we ordered carne asada tacos... then the margaritas were all juice. Won't be back

Always excellent food and great service. Never leave disappointed. My favorite is Fajitas Jalisco. Always served fresh from the grill. Give it a try Andreas and the other staff will take great care of you.

Acapulco Mexican Grill is our favorite go to spot for Sunday lunch. Absolutely the best salsa, guacamole, and fajitas in Lawrence Kansas. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and take great care of us. Highly recommend!

Food was decent but the service was terrible. We saw our waiter twice. Once to take our drink order and once to take our food order. Didn’t stop by after our food was dropped off at all. Didn’t fill our drinks. We had to go up to the front to check out and finally find our waiter. It was busy and we get that. But it was basically like not having a waiter.

Just about everything we've had, on a few occasions, is pretty bland. Meat is often overcooked. Both black and refried Beans taste fresh out of a can, rice has a boxed texture. Salsa does not taste or appear homemade.
People are nice, service is fast, and atmosphere is cool. But there are far too many Mexican restaurants around to justify the quality of their food.

Great place prices and taste !

Long time customer, always great, like neighbors. Inexpensive, consistently great. long term employees make feel like part of community.

Service was fine; I would appreciate more friendly/welcoming/introduction from the server. They did check in on us a few times. The chips were thick and kind of tough; we prefer thin and crispy. The salsa was okay but wasn't anything special. Our beverages and entrées were as ordered. Our favorite dishes were the mushroom quesadilla and fajita veggie quesadilla. The gold margaritas beat out the regular ones, and were decently priced. We had a hard time hearing each other over the din of other patrons. Will try again sometime.

This place has some pretty good stree tacos. Margaritas are also good. And it's usually not too busy

This place was amazing!! Our waiter was both attentive and authentic, which are pluses in my eyes! The food was ordered and came out in under 7 minutes! Great job, Acapulco!!
