Grace and Claire were so wonderful. We sat at the bar and Grace did an excellent job with our cocktails and food service. Claire was not our server but it was great to interact with other wait staff in the restaurant. We will definitely be back to visit!

This was my second trip here. The food is pretty good. I had the tortellini ala vodka and a Caesar salad. Both were done very well. I also had a pineapple Italian cream soda but I wasn't super fond of that. It's a little pricey imo for the caliber of the food they serve. All in all it's a decent place to dine. Be advised that it's best to have a reservation on Friday and Saturday nights as it can get pretty busy.

Have been going here for years, and my go to has always been the Tortellini Cordon bleu. Tonight, my family and I went, and I bragged it up, but the menu had Nouveau Tortellini Cordon Bleu.
I decided to try it, and when the food got there I noticed immediate difference. The tortellini were about half the size as they used to be, and the bacon wasn't a topping, it was just wet in the sauce. The fried chicken wasn't cut, so there were two very thin, wide pieces of fried chicken I had to cut with a fork and butter knife.
The breading lacked salt or flavor, and the tortellini was bland. If this was an $8 meal, I may have thought it was OK, but at $26+, this was a dissapointment.

We had been wanting to try Basil Leaf for awhile! Went in for my MIL birthday and had the best experience. Our server Grace was phenomenal, she gave fabulous recommendations from the drinks to the entree to the dessert and was beyond attentive! Would highly recommend :)

This was my first time coming to the cafe, and it was for my anniversary dinner! The food was amazing (you must get the parmesan fries with aoli). My partner enjoyed the brussels sprouts. The pasta portions are insanely huge, I had seconds and thirds!

I asked about the soup of the day and said I’d try it. 1/2 hour to bring it, eat it, and wait for the waitress to come by again. At this point ordered dinner. If the order would have been taken a 1/2 hour ago, should not have had to wait another 35-40 min for dinner to arrive. I was a party of 1. The wait was excessive. Super thick noodles and not a fan of the sauce. Not a pleasant experience overall.

Native American standing waiting while the hostess looked past me while trying to help 3 other parties. I went to the bar to get help picking up my order the bartender told me to go back to the hostess andI refused to go back up there and said I will just leave. While on my way out the owner stopped me to harass me because of I didn’t not appreciate the lack of service I received because of my race. After leaving I received a call saying my order was ready and I told the I will not be doing business with this company because of their racist actions. How very mature of a response victim blaming instead of working on your staff issues and making sure you have no biases towards Native Americans.
Our server, Ava, was great. Had a tremendous dining experience.

We googled restaurants in Lawrence and the first one that popped up was this one. We chose this one. As soon as I walked in, I knew it was going to be a great experience. The server, Sam was amazing and very personable. She is so sweet and patient. I ordered the meatballs and the garlic bread as an appetizer. The meatballs were massive. The bread was very tasty. For lunch, I had the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich with a side of soup. My partner had the same sandwich with a Caesar salad. We were able to try each other’s side. I had the Almondtini with the gram cracker rim. My partner had a Moscow Mule. The only disappointment was that it was not in a copper cup. But all in all, it was made really well. We ended up getting the warm pecan cookie A La Mode with vanilla bean ice cream (pecans on top). This was an amazing first experience. Next time we will go for dinner. 💜🩷
