Basil Leaf was recommended to us by fellow travelers and did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from our bartender (Zach). The food was great and the portions were huge (we would recommend sharing).
We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

I am not a fan of downtown but this place is worth it.
Food was very good. Service was outstanding. Outdoor seating was pleasant but a little cramped for 3 people. Panhandlers on the sidewalks were a bit annoying but that is not the restaurants fault. Parking is an issue downtown so expect to walk a little.
We had the most delicious lunch at the Basil Leaf Café. We sat on the patio and Grace gave us amazing service! We’ll go back for sure!!

We reserved this place before coming in, got appetizers after 30 minutes and still waiting for the main lunch to be served for more than 1 hour now while writing this. Wasting all my weekend just for a plate of pasta great !!

My friend and I went to the Basil Leaf for dinner today and we had a fantastic evening there! We had our food and drinks at the bar and Grace and Zack took wonderful care of us. Their service was amazing and we had a great time talking to them! I had the Pesto Chicken Penne and a Tiramisu and it was delicious. We'll definitely come back more often!

Not pleased. Went during happy hour for dinner and drinks and the bill came back completely wrong. After pointing it out we were told that the items we specifically asked about were not included. We pointed this out to the waitress and she only apologized, did not take responsibility to correct the bill. There are many options on Mass St. -I will not be returning here.
