Great BBQ! All the meat was very lean and the sauces were good, but I surprisingly found myself using their sweet sauce most. I'm a big fan of service making up a lot of the score, and we were definitely gifted with a terrific server on this visit. Grace took care of us by asking what we like typically and making recommendations along with some suggestions of sides to go with the delicious meat choices.

One of my favorite places to eat at in Lawrence! The vinegar is so good and so is their smoked chicken. I love the atmosphere, the inside is completely different than what it looks like on the outside. Service has always been good too!

We pulled up - the building was like looking at an old tethered Trunk that had seen better days...but when we open the lid to look inside we were blown away by the gorgeous rich interior and surprised but the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. Our experience was fantastic. The ribs, the chicken fried chicken and drinks were wonderful. The dessert bread pudding was outstanding! Two couples ordered the Brownie dessert - all four of us said yuck! We were not fans and don't recommend at all! - unless they quit smoking it in meat smoker...and change to commercial oven. I'm a professional baker and this literally tasted like pork with a hint of chocolate & ice cream! Overall our experience was wonderful - the staff and service was great and my Google review is 5 stars!

Loved the chicken. Not usually a bbq chicken fan but would definitely order again. Great knowledge staff and gluten friendly.
Before leaving this place you better make sure that you have all your items. I ordered some food and was missing and item when called back to let them know that I missing my cheesy corn I am not sure if it was the owner in the back saying that they do not give credit I was wanting to give them my name for when I am back in town I could stop by and pick it up along with another order that I was going to be making but after his smart attitude I just told them to keep it and that I would be finding another bbq place to eat at.
