Black Stag Brewery & Pub

We tried this brew pub for happy hour and it was great! Immaculate interior with great ambiance and nice outdoor seating. Great service and drink recommendations and the food surprised us with quality and taste! The bratwurst with the dark ale was perfect. Crab cake sliders delicious. Fresh crispy savory pub chips with Cajun aoli. What a fun affordable quality outing!

Good spread of beers. We stopped by close and only tried two beers but both were great. We didn’t stay long as there was a very large party of old old people doing their thang. It wasn’t the vibe for the night. Looking forward to checking it out another time!

My favorite Lawrence brewery to relax and talk to friends and family in, due to its. more quiet, less crowded, atmosphere coupled with excellent food, beer, and service.

We were looking for good food and possibly live music.
This place was everything we were looking for!
The pork chop plate was excellent and the seafood ravioli was hearty and beautifully balanced!

Black Stag offers a spacious dining experience with everything from burgers to bratwursts, along with all their own tasty brews. It's a great place to go, whether it would be for lunch or dinner, or just a pint by the fireplace with friends.

1hour + wait for two burgers. Came out undercooked and soggy. Waitress was a ghost. Would not recommend.

Honestly, amazing beer, amazing food, super friendly staff. This is the place to go if you are from out of town and want a great experience where you feel welcome.

Wednesday night live music.

The restaurant was completely empty and the food was very bad. Both dishes were burnt. Worst meal I’ve had in 50. Unbelievably Bad.

Kitchen staff needs complete overhaul.

The service staff was extremely helpful and prompt.

For,the price, food is mediocre. Beer is mid. You’re better off across the street.

I’m from out of town. Spent my day here speaking with the staff eating food and enjoying the beer.
The most family feeling and most accommodating place I have ever been to.
