The service was great and our server, Saskia was so kind. I guess the menu changes up every so often, but it was full of cool modern American food with some Asian and German dishes. The drinks were also very elegant. Cheers!

I haven't been back since they reopened post-COVID. Love the space. We had white fish dip with Tater tos. Ver yummy and bierock bites. Also good, although they could have been fried a bit more.
My guest loved her cocktails. I'm always intrigued by how good the cocktail sounds, but I always end up wishing I'd gotten a glass of wine. I never learn.

Delicious food and imaginative craft cocktails. Great for dinner with friends or date night. Delightful patio, or comfortable indoor seating.
Wheelchair accessibility: My son had no problem navigating the restaurant in his wheelchair.

Bon Bon is always superb. The social hour is great. Drinks are on point and food is very well executed and tasty. Be sure to try Beet, and The Salad (somehow it's a dead on reimagining of a 1990's Pizza Hut). We've had Alex as a server several times. She's excellent, but all the service is attentive and not smothering. Desserts are also great if you have room.
Vegetarian options: There are many rotating vegetarian and vegan options.
Kid-friendliness: It's a bit pricey for kids, but completely accomadating.

It's a medium size restaurant with a large patio for outside seating located in the Arts District. We sat outside with our dog.

We came here for dinner and it took some time to find a parking spot. So we were thinking "this restaurant must be packed and good!" But apparently there were not many people in the restaurant. The service was fine but I found it hard to justify the overpriced food. The portion was wayyy too small while the prices were wayyy too high. The food was ok, but for a dish in the $30 range, the taste and the portion did not match up.

Bon Bon always delivers a unique eating experience and great dining vibe.
Many new items on the specials list along with our solid favorites on the menu.
The drinks from the bar are by far the best we have ever had.

We came for dinner on a Saturday night and were surprised to find the place very dead. It was nice that it was so quiet but we were the only ones in the dining room. We were not impressed with our appetizer and drinks which were the Bon Bon Mule, Froze and the Cheesy Tots. We actually thought about leaving because the tots were so over priced for what we got and they were something you would get at any bar and grill. Anyways, we stayed and ordered entrees and thank goodness we did because those were magnificent! We had the Steak and Potatoes and the Blackened Salmon which were absolutely fabulous! For the price, the blackened salmon should have had about twice the noodles but it was the best dish by far and my husband and I both decided that we are both ordering the salmon if we ever come back. The price point is high and they charge a separate fee to every check on top of their prices so due to the prices, even though the entrees were great, we probably won’t come back, or if we do, it won’t be on the regular.

The food, atmosphere and drinks were all really good, We had a good experience. We had steak & potatoes and schnitzel(pictured) cooked well, and both highly recommended. The only reason why I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because of the serving sizes, at a $29 dollars plate for example I would have expected to have more than 6-7 pieces of potatoes on the plate or 1/4 cup or less of spaetzel on a $27 schnitzel plate.

Our first time there and the experience overall was nice. The interior and large open spaces with the glass garage doors offered a pleasant view of a nice Kansas sunset. Unfortunately it was quite noisy and honestly next time I would probably grab a corner table over by the hostess stand. We enjoyed 4 appetizers. The fish and dips was rather tasty. The broccoli Salad was a treat. The semifredo AKA frozen beets with the whipped tofu was actually better once the beets began to thaw out. Chunks of ice and frozen beets was a strange experience, but was MUCH better after they thawed out. The Chicken butter was by far the best dish we sampled. Overall we were rather pleased. Honestly I would give 5 stars but it was so noisy. This place is definitely worth a visit. BON BON APPÉTIT.

About 5 years ago, this was a pretty good spot. Tonight was my first time back since it reopened. On a Saturday night, I expected it to be loud with pretty slow service, but I didn't expect the food to be so bad. Small portions, partially frozen (?), funky tasting. It was very hard to justify the prices for what we got, and that was before the "sustainability" upcharge...

Awesome food, small plates. We shared the wings, the duck, broccoli and veggie chiccarones. And the desserts, all awesome, we'll be back.

Interesting and unique place, but what is this 7% "sustainability fee" business? Don't all businesses have to account for sustainability? How sly and sneaky to tack it on as an extra charge at the end of your bill, giving the impression of lower prices than what you are actually paying. No thank you. Learn how to do business like everyone else.
Though this is a bit off Lawrence's main drags, it's definitely worth a small side trip. Everything I got here was delicious. The menu isn't subdivided into appetizers and entrees, so I felt encouraged to select a couple of things at random and make a meal of them. The fried rice was excellent, but I was completely amazed at the "fish & dips." Not only did the tater tots amaze on their own, but the dips were beyond delicious.
