Good wine and welcoming staff with a pretty setting

We went to two local wineries as part of my small, 6 person bridal shower. The vibes here were really weird. Right when we walked in, the staff seemed annoyed and surprised that we were there (the tasting room was empty at the time). They were apparently expecting a large bridal shower party (a younger, more rowdy group that showed up later), so that may have been why they were so standoffish with us. We didn’t end up doing a tasting and just bought a couple bottles to sit outside with. They gave us plastic cups, even though we were sitting on grass (other local wineries have given us real glasses). Overall, we didn’t care for the wine as much as others. Beautiful scenery, but the overall experience was kind of a downer on what was supposed to be a happy occasion.

Crescent Moon Winery is one of the best the region. It has a nice selection of wines ranging from sweet to dry. Their tasting room and grounds are inviting. The owners are welcoming and friendly. Crescent Moon is a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

We just left the Crescent Moon Winery. We visited a few wineries today but Crescent Moon was hands down the best! Crescent Moon was the only winery that we purchased extra bottles of wine to take home. Although we got there 30 minutes before closing, they were friendly and accommodating. We just loved their wine and staff. If you love wine this is a must stop.

My mom and I had the best afternoon at Crescent Moon Winery! We enjoyed great wine, a charcuterie and cheese board and beautiful views. The owners were friendly and we are excited to come back and enjoy their live music.

Very friendly winery. One of the owners was a delight to talk to. She was very friendly and explained how they went about making wine. Their Norton is unlike any other Norton I’ve had before and the Starry Night is quite the treat. Would definitely recommend going there sometime.
