This is the experience for Mexican I had been looking for in Lawrence! As a student and as someone in customer service, I can understand slow service or being swamped with too much to do. Instead, my server (I think his name was Zack but I remember a manbun) went above and beyond while seemingly juggling tasks. Previously I had been in with a group of friends and tried an avocado enchilada, it was pretty good, but not a new favorite. Zack (I think?) had me try the Texas chimi...

I had the beef chicken and cheese enchiladas and I will admit they were the best I have ever had. I normally do not like the Mexican rice but theirs was fantastic and well as the refried beans. The only negative I could find was their salsa. It was pretty runny and had ok flavor. We will be back for sure. We live 45 minutes away and this was our first time here. It is worth the drive to go back.

Service was absolutely horrible!, for the most part our server just ignored us and they weren't busy at all there may have been 2 other tables seated
