Elmo's is the perfect neighborhood bar. They don't serve food, but there is good Mexican food a block down the street. They have different events and drink specials running throughout the week, with karaoke on Tuesdays. Pool tables in the back. Drinks are inexpensive and Steve rocks as bartender! Everyone is super friendly and it has safe vibes. Did I mention that Steve rocks? Because he does.

I was actually expecting a simple tavern when I came into town to perform this past Friday. Once inside though, the venue had a night club vibe to it. Still intimate, but more upscale than a regular bar. The layout is nice and clean. Plus the downstairs room is pretty cool and isolated to the point where 2 separate events can be held simultaneously. Bottom line is, Elmo's is a nice spot with good vibes and staff. Can't wait to return in a couple of months. Thanks for a good time.
