The owner/baker/shopkeeper is very kind and helpful. Their products are delicious, very good flavor and texture, not too pricey. I really recommend this place if you would like to try a different style of baked good and support a local business.

Awesome spot for desert and cakes! The bread of the cake is soft and fluffy and the cream is perfectly sweet! The cream buns and other sweet pastries are also very delightful. They were so good we forgot to take pictures! Their open hours are limited and run out quick, so order ahead or you might miss out. Hands down one of the best desert bakeries in town!!!

Service was friendly and prompt but the food is the reason to visit. Tiramisu crepe cake was wonderful and perfectly flavored. The Snow White cake was fluffy and light, and it's my mother's favorite. Definitely going back to try more.

It breaks my heart to give this bakery one star. I discovered Formosa couple of weeks ago and was truly hooked. They absolutely have the best tiramisu in town and I have been having them regularly for the past two weeks. The tiramisu is perfect - not too sweet and perfect balance of flavor. The owner is polite and friendly. Earlier this week, I ordered the tiramisu and couple of puddings. One of the pudding had a hair in it! Disgusting! The hair was pigmented and curly like terminal hair. Gross!Today was the day when I would have given this bakery 10 stars for its tiramisu but the hair finding changed everything. I will update try post with pics. Unfortunately, I cant bring myself to eat anything from this bakery now and so the one star.

Great-tasting, lightweight desserts that remind me of home. They are perfectly fluffy, not too dense, melt in your mouth, and just the right amount of sweet. We used their pillow top cakes (fourth photo) and ellipse cheesecake as our wedding cake bases (fifth photo for result), by applying some homemade icing whipped out of heavy cream on top. They were a hit with the family! ♡

I havent been to their bakery but they have their breads with the filling at the Chinatown store at downtown kc market and they a goodSoft, buttery, and delicious!I have to make my way to their bakery to try the other goodies ?Great job Formosa!
