Best Indian food in Lawrence! So excited they are bringing the weekend buffet back.

They have to pay more attention to service, anyway food is responsible

Me and husband had lunch here. Atmosphere was nice, Food was tasty. We got the spinach and onion pakora, lamb korma and garlic naan. Waitress did her job. Not overly friendly but fair. We will be back to try more dishes

Amazing food and service if you’re going g through Lawrence it’s a must

It really sucks what this restaurant has become. I used to love Globe Indian and visited their buffet religiously. It was such a great option when you are not exactly sure what to try when it comes to Indian food and you can try a bunch of different variations of curry without buying a whole plate. Those days are gone. Not only is the buffet gone, but they are rarely open during business hours. From what I heard management has changed hands and that was when the decision was made to cut the buffet and maintenance went off a cliff resulting in them being closed often (please post on Facebook if you are closed). I am not really sure if their goal is to go to an all carry out model but that definitely will not last on Mass St. I was able to get my favorite curry again by carry out, but I miss what they used to be. The buffet had been listed at around $14 a plate. I would gladly pay more if it meant the buffet could return, it was their best feature. I’m honestly just sad more than anything, they had great people and a great offering that is no longer provided.

The website is lying! There is no buffet according to the employee. I will not be back, what a scam.

I thought this was pretty good. I was served quickly and courteously, and food came promptly. Menus were well-marked with what was vegan-friendly, which made ordering easier, too.

I've been to this restaurant many times and the food is awesome, service is usually pretty good. But this is the 3rd time I'm been and they've been closed during business hours for no reason, despite their hours saying 11-2:30 and 5-9:30 on both the website and the door. And for the record, I came a whole hours after it was supposed to be open. I'm not usually one to complain but if this restaurant is closed during business hours the next time I come they will lose my business.

I wish they'd said something about no longer offering their lunch buffet. That was literally the only reason we went.

Not nearly as impressed with our second visit here. Every aspect was underwhelming although the flavors were very good. People notice inconsistency!

It was my wife’s birthday and we ordered quite a bit and none of the food served to us was good. Some were half cooked and over use of spices. Very bad experience.

Came to eat lunch on Saturday two weekends in a row and the door was locked. Last time I visit Globe. Are you in business or not? It’s not a day to day decision.

I ordered 3 pieces of samosas and they charged $10. The samosas were very oily and smaller in sizes, not worth $3.33. We will never go back to this place again!!
