Cozy little spot to find for a sandwich when takING a quick random trip to Lawrence! Definitely a little gem with amazing cinnamon rolls and the chocolate rice Krispy ball things OMG! My only disappointment is the pesto sandwich I got looked nothing like the picture. Maybe if they stacked 2 or 3 on top with a lot of extra cheese sure, nonetheless it was really really tasty! Bf got the Italian one and it looked just like the picture! Would recommend and will be back for sure if and when I get back to Lawrence!

Went in here to try this first time on a busy Saturday. Was very quick only took about 12 to 15 minutes to get my order. I got the Cuban and was highly impressed. Will be back to buy bakery goods and try their sweet treats as well, but I would recommend going here for the hot sandwiches and the excellent pricing.

I had made a order for king cake. The order was for this morning. I came in at a 11:00 am . Then was told that they wouldn't be done til 3 or 4. So I could either come back or get a refund. They did care what I did. I explained that this was for work and I had already to off for lunch to do this. Again they did not care. It doesn't matter how good your food is if people can't get it when it order. And when your people don't care

Y’all, I have been wanting to go here for a while and I’m so glad I did. I got a chocolate pecan coconut cookie bar. I used to love these as a kid. I haven’t seen one at any bakery… I told the lady I had to try it. Omg…. It was so good. Just like I remember when I was a kid but better. I’ll be back to try their food.

My delicious sandwich gave me no choice but to leave a review.I needed to customize my sandwich by substituting one ingredient and leaving two other ingredients off. I’m happy to report that my sandwich was made with 100% accuracy. It was a high quality sandwich and tasted amazing! The location is clean, organized and has a cheery and friendly staff. My to-go order was packed very well and I’m already looking forward to my return!A+

Stopped in around 9 am on a Saturday. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a loaf of Cinnamon Chip. The aroma of cinnamon had me floating up to the counter like a cartoon character. The sandwich was great, but eating the cinnamon bread was a profound experience. I had no idea that something as simple as bread could evoke such powerful nostalgia. When I bit into the bread, visions of Saturday morning cinnamon rolls swirled in my mind as I noted its pillowy texture. I’m incredibly grateful to this bread for unveiling once forgotten memories of positive family interactions. I think we all get excited when we finally get to the center of a cinnamon roll, but with this particular loaf, every bite was like enjoying the center.

What a great little bakery! Food was delicious and they have healthier options than most bakeries. I’m from NC and stopped in for coffee. Left with much more because it was so good.

Amazing bread and baked goods. We got the sourdough loaf and a sugar cookie ?. Both were amazing! And it's hard to get a good sourdough sometimes.

When am I going to learn that some places just do not live up to what they promise. It's not intentional I know that they're probably doing their best but despite that they just can't seem to hit the mark. And that's what I experienced here. This is my first time ever hearing of this place let alone ordering. So because of that I was excited to try something new.First of all I ordered my food through DoorDash because I avoid the downtown Lawrence area. My food was delivered fast and fresh, so what I am about to speak on has absolutely nothing to do with DoorDash because they did their job. Being that it was my first time I wanted to have a monte Cristo sandwich and I love bakery goods so I decided to try their cinnamon roll and cinnamon twist. They also had a drink called "lost trail cream soda", so I ordered that as well. I did not read the reviews on Yelp before ordering so I went into this with my eyes completely open. That being said when the food arrived the first thing I noticed was that my cinnamon roll and cinnamon twist were cold and wrapped in plastic. They were a good size but they were cold. I felt that was kind of weird considering that these are supposed to be fresh baked goods. So to find it cold was a little disheartening. The cream soda came in a bottle with a cap and it was a little small for what they charged me for it but it gave me comfort knowing that it was a drink that no one could tamper with. The biggest disappointment was the Montecristo sandwich. First of all it was extremely greasy. So much so that after biting into it I felt as though I had Chapstick on my lips. Plus it was only 1 half of a sandwich, I mean $7.70 for half a sandwich? Seriously? Well, A bag of kettle chips came with the sandwich so that was OK. I have yet to eat the cinnamon roll but I did eat the cinnamon twist. Unfortunately I had to heat it up in the microwave before I could eat it. When I ate it it was soft and hot due to my microwave, But because it was just Dough and cinnamon and a smidge of sugar, I failed to see what was so special about these baked goods from anyone else who does this. I've had better cinnamon twist from convenient store gas stations. Not that the cinnamon twist was bad it just was ordinary and certainly not worth what I paid for it.I don't really have a problem with this place although my review may seem like I did, but I really don't. I don't know if I'll be back I'm on the fence about that. What I will say is that it has potential to be a very good place but they are just missing the mark and honestly I don't know what they could do to actually hit it, although I do believe the price of what they charge for everything might help because the prices certainly do not match the quality of the food. I'll give them a little time and maybe I'll give them another chance

Love their breads! Personally I prefer my bread has some chewy texture or density when I take a bite. Theirs are definitely on spot!
