We were treated so disrespectfully by the door guy and bartender when trying to attend a friends birthday party there. There are so many better choices to enjoy all that downtown Lawrence has to offer. Just keep walking right past this bar. And look elsewhere to spend your hard earned money. I will never step foot in this place again and nor will the people I was with. What could have been a calm respectful discussion turned out to be escalated from 0 to 10 by their door guy. I have lived in Lawrence for 30 years and have visited just about every bar downtown. I have never encountered a place so unwelcoming.

The "Cheers" of Lawrence. Harbour Lights is very welcoming and fun with a great community of regulars. Everyone on staff is great, Thursday nights are my favorite time to come, my favorite bartender and friends come then so come get a drink with us.

Great little bar. Friendly people. Sidewalk outside the place felt nice when I fell down although nobody helped me get up. Perhaps because I was covered in my own vomit. Either way its a great place.
