We had this catered for a work lunch, pretty good stuff! The beans are on point as was the beef. Would definitely have again. Good sauce.

Great place for lunch when I'm in Lawrence. Pulled pork is absolutely delicious, with regular or a spicy sauce. Curly fries are great as it's the coleslaw.

Tried this place for the first time today bring new to Lawrence…it’s a relaxing place, the people are nice but sorry to say the food was mediocre to bad. The ribs were tough, dry and tasted like a week old. The baked potato was good. Potato salad was a little bland. The sandwhich also had really dry meat. Not planning on going back unfortunately.

On a road trip passed thru, GREAT prices, HUGE portions. 3 Meat dinner, hell of a deal. I got the Rib snack & it was perfect! Good & Hot! Damn good!

Great staff and fast service, but serious cleanliness issues.
The food came out quickly, and the staff was great. However, I noticed black mold throughout the dining area. There was visible mold on the ice machine dispenser and backsplash, which raises concerns about how well the drink station is cleaned at night. I also saw mold on the wooden planks that hold the paper towels and BBQ sauce, as well as in the creases where the tables meet the walls. The tile floors were slippery, likely due to excess moisture—possibly indicating a humidity issue. I’d strongly recommend investing in a dehumidifier and addressing the mold problem. This is the first time I’ve seen it in this condition.

Meat was not done,had to cook it in the oven a whole lot LONGER EVEN MORE!!!!!
Purchased a 1/2 Slab, AND NOT ENOUGH MEAT ON THE RIBS MAINLY BONES
Won't be going their anymore I HOPE.

The beef sandwich was not as good as it's been on past visits. Not sure if it was the meat or the seasoning. Even the soft drinks were off, like the syrup ratio wasn't right.
