Tried this place for the first time today bring new to Lawrence…it’s a relaxing place, the people are nice but sorry to say the food was mediocre to bad. The ribs were tough, dry and tasted like a week old. The baked potato was good. Potato salad was a little bland. The sandwhich also had really dry meat. Not planning on going back unfortunately.

The beef sandwich was not as good as it's been on past visits. Not sure if it was the meat or the seasoning. Even the soft drinks were off, like the syrup ratio wasn't right.

I used Hog Wild to cater my wedding 5/10/2025. Russell and his team were so easy to work with from the get go. Reasonable price points, easy to communicate, and the food was DELICIOUS! We got lots of compliments on the mac and cheese especially from our guests. They came and set up, served, tore down, and cleaned up all with ease. I would recommend them for any bride looking for catering!!
