My favorite coffee shop in Lawrence!! Everyone from the baristas to the owner are exceptionally nice. There is nothing like a locally owned and run coffee shop. Their food is delicious and their coffee always hits the spot. Be sure to grab some of their coffee beans too! Exceptional!
The coffee is excellent. They roast it here. There are always three varieties “on tap” for the bottomless cup of straight coffee, plus an extensive menu of custom drinks and some baked goods. The frozen ginger lemonade is delicious. The bags of beans are excellent. Most wonderful of all, the owner makes everyone feel welcome. You will see all sorts of people here - all ages, genders, walks of life. It’s a community and regulars get to know one another. A real asset to west Lawrence. I and the planet appreciate that not everything is served in disposables.
