The food here is delicious - the J. Wilson's of beignets are delicious and fluffy. If you are a fan of deviled eggs, you must try theirs! I've been to brunch here twice with family and I've enjoyed both visits. The fresh squeezed grapefruit juice is delicious. If you do not prefer lavender, I would avoid the iced coffee. I liked it but my husband switched over to black coffee and I had his iced coffee. As silly as this sounds, I would LOVE hooks installed within the stalls of the ladies restroom. There is not a good option to hang/place your purse unless you choose to leave it at your table. A word to the wise, if you plan to dine with them on a holiday - get a reservation. It was pure luck to manage to squeeze in on Valentine's Day morning for a party of 3.

Really great. We sat at the bar and had the pasta alla vodka and the steak frites, some cocktails and wine. For dessert we had the coffee cake. The food here is really delicious.

Me and my Mrs. celebrated our 40th anniversary at J Wilson's in Lawrence, Ks. I did not know about their establishment before running into a review mentioning them. We are a fan of Johnny T's restaurant and were put at ease about giving them a try when we learned that they were. I am so glad we chose to go there on our special night! The staff was amazing, many came by our table to congratulate us on our Anniversary. Our server ZACK was wonderful. Although we were in Lawrence from out of town, he made us feel at home. He never made us feel like he was in a hurry or too busy to help us with any questions that we may have. J Wilson's topped off our anniversary!!! When you tire of fast food this is a great break. The atmosphere let us escape the notion that we were in Midwest, the atmosphere gave the feeling of a 5 star restaurant on either coast. It was a welcomed and pleasing escape from the norm.

And we lost this place! I especially love that they have yummy mocktails! Nearby steak and salmon were perfectly cooked.Everything was so good.The tiramisu dessert is absolutely amazing! We came here the night before valentine's day!

WOW!! First time guest visiting from out of town. It was close to my hotel so I decided to give it a try, and I am very glad I did. The food was superb! I ordered the crab cakes and the fried pork chop (comes with mashed sweet potatoes, collard greens, and spiced apples/onions). It was delectable. Best meal I have had in a long time. The service was wonderful too - Elijah was friendly and professional, as was the hostess, Masa. The atmosphere is lovely - great place for a date night or business dinner. It feels high end without being pretentious. I will absolutely come back!

Just had a delicious, reasonably priced meal for two. As I sit here, scratching my head.. wondering why anyone in the world would ever go across the street to 6 Mile, when this place is here. Truly superb!

The food was great, the service was awesome. The only issue was that there was a big group and sometimes it was hard to talk especially for those with hearing aids. The acoustics could be improved.
