We were introduced to Karen’s Konfections because she volunteered through icing smiles to make a cake for my son who is a liver transplant warrior. Since then, we have also purchased two cakes from her. Please hear me when I say these cakes are the most moist, flavorful and delicious cakes I’ve ever had. Her cookies and cream frosting is to die for. You can’t co wrong. Her cakes look beautiful but somehow tastes even better.

I wanted a yummy carrot cake for my birthday, with some pineapple, and no nuts. I looked through a local thread on Facebook and found the suggestion for Karen's Konfections. I sent her a message about what I wanted, and she was quickly responsive. She asked the pertinent questions, and accepted payment through Venmo. We communicated about pickup time and place. All was according to plan and this 3-tiered beauty was delicious! Sadly, I was too busy hosting to think to snap a pic, but I did snag a delicious, rich piece of cake!

This was my first time using an individual baker. Karen was very responsive when I messaged her to go over what I was wanting. She answered several questions and remained very nice. When I picked up the cake I was amazed at how beautiful it was and how closely it looked like the inspiration cake. Karen walked me to the car, opening my doors, holding the cake until I got in and buckled. When it was time to serve the cake I could immediately tell upon cutting the cake it was very moist. It absolutely was, this cake was so moist and delicious. The party guest kept commenting on how great of a cake it was. Thank you Karen.
