Met bff here to experience the food as we've heard it's an experience. Walk in and it's vast. Very industrial feel with Polished concrete floor and lots of high top tables. One worker was evident for the whole place and she welcomed us and quickly took our order. I had the fish and chips with a Corona. Bff had fried shrimp and okra. Bff also decided to trip the light fantastic and enjoy a hurricane. I tried the hurricane and it was waaay too boozy for me. Absolutely nailed a NOLO hurricane at this place folks! Food arrives and you know what? It's arrival is meh. My fish tastes alot like Long John Silvers. If you like fast and greasy fish this is the place. My Cajun fries however were insanely delicious. Make sure you order this option! Yes! Simple fries made better with whatever hotten-heimer seasoning they use-DELICIOUS! My beer was tepid (I despise tepid) and a disappointment. Bffs shrimp and okra was exactly what I expected: Aunt Betty's attempt at something tasty masked by breading. Unless you pour Tabasco or something tasty over it you'll suffer disappointment. The gold star was the service. I truly won't go back unless I'm doing a crawl that includes a NOLO hurricane.

We went there for lunch. The restaurant had just opened, and we were the first customers to arrive. Very informal dining. You place the order, and it is brought to your table. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had (1) fried fish and shrimp with fried okra; and (2) fried fish and shrimp and French fries. The food tested excellent, and it was reasonably priced. The portions were very generous. The fish and shrimp were spicy, but everything tasted good to me.
Note that all the food was fried. There are no salads on the menu.

Best service and drinks I've had. The food was amazing! However the service and bartender made our experience that much better cause the food can sell its self it's so good. He made our visit absolutely stand out and definitely differentiated our experience from any other place we've ever gone!!!!

Fish was definitely refried and not fresh made hush puppies also refried the crab legs were small and very skinny and shrimp over cooked and rubbery this place used to have really good food made fresh to order our experience this visit definitely disappointed we should have known something was up absolutely no one but us was there we will not be going back and definitely would not recommend the food the mango rum runner drink was really the only thing good in this place so very disappointed and definitely dissatisfied will not be going back
For the price you pay for food, you shouldn't have to go to counter to order, and the food should come out all at once, not 10-15 minutes between plates. Where if you wait to eat with your family, your food is cold by the time they get theirs. Very disappointed.

Food was truly great. Kinda shocked it was a walk up and order place for the price. We had a party of 5 and each of our orders came out individually with at least 5 min in between each. Again, not a great experience for the price, but food was well cooked and tasted great.

What a delightful little place! If you like fish this is a must try! Fish fried to perfection! And a wonderful atmosphere with music to fit was the icing on the cake! Oh, and I have to mention the sweet cashier/server and chef. They were so was polite and kind, our meal was shared so the chef seperated it and gave us an extra piece of fish at no additional charge! That made our day! We will definitely be back!
