I have purchased a couple of “KEY LIME PIES” (in the past) that were outta this world delicious, from the key lime filling to the best graham cracker crust ever. I heard about their Friday night Fried Chicken so we brought some friends and tried it out. Well I thought nothing could get better than the pies but….. This fried chicken is fall off the bone tenderest tastiest chicken I’ve had and so is the mac and cheese. Everything we put in our mouth from this meal was fresh, tasty, hot and delicious. It’s a quant, little diner with fast friendly service. The Expresso Martini is one of the best Ive had too…. I highly recommend and we’ll be back again soon!!!

Incredible food, friendliest people, and just the most authentically “Lawrence” restaurant ever. Papas bravas and the huevos rancheros are both excellent. Can’t go wrong on that menu.

I had the fried chicken sandwich and french fries and it was perfect The added relish brought it to another level. My husband had the chicken fried steak with fried potatoes gravy and two eggs of course we brought half of it home in a to-go box because it was a lot of food.

On a road trip and needed gas somewhere near Lawrence, KS. As a casual Supernatural fan, I figured it was a good place to stop for food and gas, and wow was I right!

The service was quick and friendly, and the food was just phenomenal! My traveling companion had the chicken fried steak with grits, and felt it was a big rush because he'd never had grits he'd liked. He said they were life changing, and I stole a bite... They were perfect!!

I had an heirloom tomato BLT, and I think I lost tech of space and time while I ate it. The bread was house made and wonderful, and the tomatoes were some of the best I've had.

Then we got pie too... All the crusts were flaky and amazing. The coconut cream was delicious, and the raspberry sour cream had almonds, and even a couple days later, was better than pies I've had anywhere.

Go visit this restaurant. You won't regret it!

One of the best dining experiences I have had in the city of lawrence! My friend introduced me to the owner, who is an amazing woman.

Our waitress was absolutely phenomenal, and couldn't do enough to see to our satisfaction!

The initial experience was a bit negative. There was a wait, which is fine and expected, but it took 23 minutes as opposed to 20. The woman hosting proudly declared that she was the best to possibly ever exist at doing her job, which would've been badass if the timing was better. When we did get seated, it took almost an hour to get our food, which I wasn't prepared for. But, when it came out, I forgot about the purgatory I had been existing in and was delighted. The eggs were cooked perfectly, jammy just as I requested. It was some of the best execution of food preparation I have experienced in Lawrence. Service was okay, tables were spacious and comfy, coffee mugs and tableware super cute, food was a bit higher priced than some others. Will return at a less busy time in the future. Delicious!

Great spot in Lawrence for brunch. Your going to take a hit on college town prices but the portions and potency of the morning drink make the hit feel way better.

This was my first time at Lady Bird and it was a wonderful experience all around. Didn’t have to wait for a table and received amazing service. We ordered a slice of pie to go right when we sat down so that it didn’t run out before we left.

Every dish we had was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and see what’s on the menu next time!
