Definitely not child friendly. My friend and I were turned away, because she had her 6 year old son, because it was a KU gameday. Mind you it was early in the afternoon and they were not even busy. Just wanted to enjoy the afternoon and have lunch.

If i could give 0 stars I would. They would not let my friends in for not having student IDs even though they’re 23-25 years old but clearly have no problem letting underage girls in. Bouncers were very rude and disrespectful.

Not sure the issue with the bartender upstairs on the rooftop, older gent of asian descent. Can’t tell if he hates his job or his life. He was extremely condescending and rude, made really subpar drinks, so not sure why he acted like he was too good to be there. I’ve had way better bartenders and service in way shabbier places. I thought at first he just wasn’t sociable (which, maybe stop bartending if you’re so jaded and not pleasant to speak or look at) but he was very rude upon me trying to tab out with him. He spoke very slowly and condescendingly, even though I was told I could tab out upstairs. It wasn’t a big deal I was just confused, and he continued to be disrespectful. Told him I was just trying to tip him but to forget it, he said “doesn’t matter. it all goes in the same pot”. which is a shame. he doesn’t deserve a dollar. Tipped the girls downstairs, they were great. Hate that they are doing the heavy lifting and he gets a cut of their money. He’s not even friendly so Logies is doing a major disservice by having him. What a joke. I guess I would be angry to be bartending at 50 too.
Just take everybody’s warning about the rude staff and unpleasant environment seriously. It’s obvious any 5 star reviews are coming from staff. The people have spoken and this place seriously blows.

Came in at the beginning of the night with a few friends , loved the upstairs patio! The bartender, brown hair, Falicity? was possibly her name , was a great bartender, seemed to love her job! Had their burger basket and loved it. Drinks were a great price! WILL BE BACK AGAIN!!

The best bar ever !!! The blonde bartender was so great and nice ! Door guys did an outstanding job aswell, making this place so secure. The servers went above and beyond ! This is the best bar and lawrence for sure, and the rooftop is the best time ever!!!

Usually I like this bar. However, I tried to take my parents there for parents weekend, and they told me it was students only. It was very clear there were other parents inside, so why were mine excluded? Not to mention, the bartenders will steal your change. When I tried to call, no one picked up. When this place opened, it was great. However, it has gone so downhill. Go anywhere else.

Literally go to any other bar. Watched them kick out a girl for “looking gay” (bouncers choice of words). Sounds insane for Lawrence but if you look through reviews you’ll see this is not an isolated event. Their bouncers are on an ego trip. They also won’t let some people in on the weekends without a KU ID. Not sure how that is legal - but they’re perfectly fine allowing underage girls in! Don’t waste your time here (: Also watched them kick out a sober girl for no reason. much better bars in Lawrence where their business isn’t run by frat boys who make up rules as they go and by who they think they can sleep with. Gross.

While sober, out with her friends my friend was treated APPALLINGLY by the Logie’s staff. She needed to use the bathroom urgently (medical reason) and there was a line out the door for the women’s, so she ventured into the men’s (which was completely empty). Your male staff followed her in there and then forcibly escorted her out while being as rude as humanly possible. Disgusting behavior from your staff, I hope harassing a young woman made them all feel like the big men they so desperately want to be. Logies management: DO BETTER.
Logies is a wonderful place, but unfortunately Sophia Luna really had to go out of her way to make my sister feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and out of place today. My sister broke her foot weeks ago and is currently in a full cast for this, to which she has to use crutches or a scooter to get around. As you can imagine, crutches is uncomfortable for a far “walk” to any bar and for that she loves to use her scooter while she’s in this cast! Even being in a cast is uncomfortable, but not as uncomfortable as Sophia made her feel today. Sarah and her friends had their own spot inside Logies today, having fun when Sophia asked them to move her scooter to the front, because it was getting in peoples way. Well, it was not in anyone’s way (she said people tripped on it and no one did?), and more importantly, my sister did not want any attention drawn to it to start off with, so they kept it closely to their table. When my sister needed it to go to the bathroom and then came back, Sophia again had to make it a point that the scooter “HAS to go up front”. Sophia, I’m sure you were busy and stressed out during a gameday rush hour, but your inability to have patience or even a bit of understanding that maybe my sister was already uncomfortable made it so much worse when you continually had to seek out the one thing making her self conscious right now. Sophia, it takes 0 effort to be kind. At the end of the day, maybe you just needed to deliver your statement and “thoughts” better, but if my sister was treated this way, I could sadly only imagine how other people are treated every day, and I hope you take a step back to instead be kind and not condescending like you were today. Being stressed out doesn’t justify being rude to someone, no matter who it is. Have a great day!
