Lucky Seb's Dumplings, Chicken & BBQ

Arrived at 12:40 on a Thursday afternoon, one other couple seated with their food already. Four staff puttering around the bar; waiter takes our order, and we get our two drinks at 1:04. 24 minutes for two simple drinks, with literally no other ordering patrons in the bar?! We had to ask the bartender and he didn’t even know drinks had been ordered; then he took FOREVER to make weak drinks. The food was mediocre— the seasoned fries were the best thing we ate, and we love weird/new foods. Horrible service and decrepit decor… PASS.

Such a good place. Excellent service, good food, decent prices. Honestly can’t wait to go back.

I decided to try this place out due to the high rating, I was disappointed. Maybe I chose the wrong dish. I ordered fried rice and didn’t eat more than a few bites. It was bad enough I wouldn’t try this place again.

Stopped by here on a trip through Lawrence and was not disappointed. The food was great and the staff was great. The pork dumplings were hand made and had great flavor. The brisket fried rice was a great fusion of flavors. I also took some of the curry home and it was great even the next day. Price wise an about what you’d expect from a fast casual place, $12 for a decent sized appetizer you can share and $18 for a main that I took half home from.

There's nothing here that I would come back for.

I’ve eaten their food a couple of times and it’s all excellent. Recently we went for Happy Hour and to dine inside instead of take out. It’s not a fancy restaurant but warm and inviting. We were taken care if by the bartender, Josh, she gave us beyond excellent service. From the HH menu we ordered chicken wings which were smoky and delicious, also the dumplings and cucumbers were fresh and tasty. We also had cocktails and mine was SUPER!!! The “Fairy Nectar”, it features vodka, blueberry, lemon and triple sec with glitter and a sugar rim. It tasted amazing. We ordered The kimchi fries which were perfectly spiced, generous portions and also amazing. To go home we ordered Pad Thai with tofu, Brisket Fried Rice and Big Brisket Sandwich. I enjoyed the Vietnamese Noodle Salad in the past. I can’t say enough about the delicacies Ive eaten here. The brisket no matter what it’s on is one of the BEST I have ever had…..hands down. So I recommend anything and everything they serve but especially Brisket!!! (And dumplings etc….). You will never leave disappointed. Run don’t walk to try this place out, I recommend it to everyone who will listen!!!

Wow, what a unique and wonderful place to eat! We started with Salmon Rangoon, which were so good! I got the chicken sandwich with raspberry beet salad, so great! The sandwich had slaw and pickles, so not your typical chicken sandwich, the best! My husband got Pho'rench dip and fries, which was equally delicious. Fries are nicely seasoned and flavorful. His sandwich had a little kick to it, but not too spicy. First time and loved it! Our waiter was very attentive and kind as well.

Online order had a snafu and didn't process correctly. Called in to fix the issue and was communicated over the phone as if my payment processed. Went in to pick up order and staff just told me to wait in the attached room while they finished up my food. Leave and while I'm enjoying my meal, get a call back letting me know my order's payment somehow didn't process. Get passively aggressively accused of dining and dashing and pretty much get barked at to rush back to the restaurant to pay for my order. Try to dissolve the situation and resolve the issue quickly by seeing if I can pay over the phone. Get shouted down to come back to the restaurant. Return to the restaurant and pay for my order, no reason for this treatment since I was a repeat customer. Pretty much get lukewarm treatment by staff as I pay for my meal, no attempt to remedy customer relationship. Will not be going back here ever again. Save yourself some time and don't order takeout from this place. Better to avoid this treatment, even if the food is pretty good.

Such a bummer, the food is always good. But lack of items two hours away from close, inattentive servers and menu items being offered and then being redacted. It's a bummer because I generally like this place.

I saw really good reviews and thought to try it. We went on Saturday, it’s now Monday. First off we dined in and ordered our dine in dishes and one soup to go for the week. First, my food came 5 minutes after my husbands. He got a pork sandwich and the pork was tough. I got veggie dumplings and they were okay, but nothing to right home about. Now that I’m having the soup, again nothing great about the broth and the 3 dumplings were by far the most disappointing. One dumpling had no filling! One had a extremely tiny piece, like the size of a pinky nail of a child, the other had a decent amount. Disappointing…wish I could add the photos I took on here!

Outstanding asian food. Everything is fresh and made from scratch, I enjoyed every bite. The Vietnamese Noodle Salad was amazing!
