Stopped by here on a trip through Lawrence and was not disappointed. The food was great and the staff was great. The pork dumplings were hand made and had great flavor. The brisket fried rice was a great fusion of flavors. I also took some of the curry home and it was great even the next day. Price wise an about what you’d expect from a fast casual place, $12 for a decent sized appetizer you can share and $18 for a main that I took half home from.
I’ve eaten their food a couple of times and it’s all excellent. Recently we went for Happy Hour and to dine inside instead of take out. It’s not a fancy restaurant but warm and inviting. We were taken care if by the bartender, Josh, she gave us beyond excellent service. Wow, what a unique and wonderful place to eat! We started with Salmon Rangoon, which were so good! I got the chicken sandwich with raspberry beet salad, so great! The sandwich had slaw and pickles, so not your typical chicken sandwich, the best! My husband got Pho'rench dip and fries, which was equally delicious. Fries are nicely seasoned and flavorful.
