Mass St. Fish House & Raw Bar

I've never had a meal that disappoints me at Mass St., Fish House and raw bar. It's a real treat to get such good seafood in the middle of the country.

Staff was amazing and Food was great with the exception of the carrot cake. We ordered bread, popcorn shrimp, fries, mussels and ahi nachos as appetizers. Ordered fish and chips, branzini, salmon and clams for dinner. Desserts of Pumpkin bread pudding and vanilla ice cream were good. Did not care for carrot cake at all. Very heavy and somewhat dry not cakey at all. Lacked flavor. Carrot puree had a bitter taste, maybe too much lime or lemon. Would still recommend and would definitely back..

We went for happy hour and there were many delicious items to choose from. We ordered the ahi nachos and oysters and bubbles twice!

We went to Mass Street Fish House for the first time the other night and had an enjoyable meal. First off, our server was EXCELLENT. Really personable and on top of everything. Major appreciation for her (wish we remembered her name!). My wife has non-standard food allergies (cilantro, high fructose corn syrup) and she was great at sorting out ingredients in the bread and other items for us so she could eat without concern. We had an assortment of fresh oysters and they were superb. Don't know how Mass Street gets their oysters but wish we could find more freshness like this in the midwest. Had the tinned razor clams as another starter and they were FANTASTIC. Can't wait to go back and get them again. For our mains we had the pan roasted salmon and the trout. The trout was served with hummus and a pork butter (?). The trout was great. The bed of hummus and pork butter not exactly to our liking. Nonetheless, the fish was excellently prepared and we had a great dinner. Looking forward to going back and trying the oysters and the tinned razor clams again!

We always love coming to Mass Street Fish House even if we end up having the same things. The food is great and the wine selection very good and when the weather is nice, you have to sit outside! They have a great staff; friendly and professional.

Great food, service, atmosphere. Wonderful place for Parent's Weekend to treat our daughter.

We had dinner on the patio at Mass Street Fish House last night and it was a lovely experience, in all ways. This restaurant can be counted on for consistently good food and friendly and professional service.

Super great service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Yummy food had the oysters and ahi tuna nachos for an app and then had the shrimp pasta, the lobster pasta and the ribeye. All was good and impressive house wine. Third time at Mass Fish and it hasn't disappointed us yet.

What an outstanding experience, everything from the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service was exceptional! I do not recall our servers name but she was incredible, gave us a full run down and recommendations on the menu as it was our first time, and was always attentive to our needs. We got a few share plates and an entree and every bite was amazing, the standout was definitely the Ahi Tuna Nachos. Definitely would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good dinner. And again, I do not recall our servers name but I would go as far to say she gave us the best experience I have ever had with a server at any restaurant, even going as far as to give us one of our appetizers for free as a first time customer gift. 10/10 exceptional.

We absolutely love going to the fish market...it was a last minute decision and we made reservations. We had a lovely date outside during happy hour.

My favorite restaurant in Lawrence! Amazing food, each item was delicious. The summer salad and the crab pasta were exceptional! Wonderful service. Loved the outdoor dining.
