Staff was amazing and Food was great with the exception of the carrot cake. We ordered bread, popcorn shrimp, fries, mussels and ahi nachos as appetizers. Ordered fish and chips, branzini, salmon and clams for dinner. Desserts of Pumpkin bread pudding and vanilla ice cream were good. Did not care for carrot cake at all. Very heavy and somewhat dry not cakey at all. Lacked flavor. Carrot puree had a bitter taste, maybe too much lime or lemon. Would still recommend and would definitely...
We went to Mass Street Fish House for the first time the other night and had an enjoyable meal. First off, our server was EXCELLENT. Really personable and on top of everything. Major appreciation for her (wish we remembered her name!). My wife has non-standard food allergies (cilantro, high fructose corn syrup) and she was great at sorting out ingredients in the bread and other items for us so she could eat without concern. We had an assortment of fresh oysters and they were superb....
We always love coming to Mass Street Fish House even if we end up having the same things. The food is great and the wine selection very good and when the weather is nice, you have to sit outside! They have a great staff; friendly and professional.
