We really like Mi Ranchito. Their chips are warm, thin, and crispy; their salsa is very mild, but I add Cholula hot sauce to it to spice it up. It is not a chunky salsa. The Burrito Feliz is very good, but we've never been disappointed by anything we've eaten there. We usually go to a location in Olathe; this was our first visit in Lawrence. I liked the look of the restaurant inside.

We've been to the Olathe locations, but first time at the Lawrence restaurant. This was a to-go order, but food was great and still hot when I got it home. Only complaint was the chips were a little stale/chewy.

There was no hand soap in the women s bathroom. The waiter got our drink order wrong, There was a big scary guy that brought out the food (I think he was the manager), very gruff and unfriendly. Food was not great. Won't go there again. If in Lawrence go to Taco John's. It's way better.

we reserved a table for an after-kiddo-birthday-party, for a fairly large group, & had an excellent experience, thank you! the waitress was amazing, and so kind to our kiddos, the food was so good(we especially liked the queso!) We had a nice quiet back corner so we could visit. I would absolutely use them again if needed for a group meal.

This place was unexpectedly delicious. It's our new go to for Tex Mex, even though it's across town. The chorizo tacos are so good.

We love Mi Ranchito! Mexican cuisine is one of those areas where you will never please everyone as everyone has different ideas of what the food should taste like. Mi Ranchito, however is our go to. While I am sure it isn't the most authentic, they have amazing food that we have never had quality control issues with and we have eaten at various MI Ranchito's (including this location) more times than one could count. Food is always flavorful, piping hot, and service is also very good to boot. Although we have eaten there many times, we usually don't venture too far outside out of the box because we have several items that we LOVE, such as the Sampler (huge meal) nd a little bit of everything, Pollo Poblanos--ah-mazing, la crema chimchanga and cream cheese chicken enchiladas. These items will not disappoint! Will forever be out #1 go to for Mexican food.

I gave Mi Ranchito a chance about 5 years ago, but they said a side was vegetarian and when I was eating it discovered meat in it. So that definitely left a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively and literally.I decided to give them another try recently and they exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. The staff was very nice and made sure we didn’t need anything during our dinner. I look forward to going back soon!

Cozy Mexican restaurant in Lawrence. Super selection of dishes and beverages. I ordered a chili Verde plate. It was tasty with great sides. Portions were generous. Great staff, very attentive.Parking: Plenty of spaces.

Great portions, fast food delivery after ordering, the food was good...Would like to see some cleaning done here tho, the air vents above the tables are black with fuzz and the bathroom was wet, paper towels strewn about.Overall, never had bad food here or service.I'd recommend it for family dinners, business lunch, anytime date night, fun with friends & food!
We were hungry for Mexican, and our old favorites in town are gone so........Last time we went here the soup was watery and downright cold, but we thought the menu sounded good for take out. Sure, the menu descriptions sounded good. What we got was not. When we got home with our food, all of the containers were dirty on the bottom, as if they had been sitting in a pile of food and sauce. As soon as one box was opened, a bug was seen crawling around in it!! The chimichanga I ordered was hard as a rock--not at all like any chimichanga I've had before. It was difficult to eat at best. And the flavor was only so-so. I would never ever go to this place again.

Didn't appreciate having to estimate my tax and bill. Their system went down and they did this for everyone in the building at the time which was like seven parties. We were all assured that these were going to go into their system and not becoming tax fraud but I'm not convinced. There was signage on their door stating that they are rumors they are closing soon and this accompanying that message makes me feel like I got forced to wait there for 20 minutes for them to not pay taxes on something they overtaxed me on. 11.49 isn't 15 dollars after tax. I was at a table of three including myself. I was forced to sit there way longer than my meal took to eat. They made sure to get their gratuity though!

The owner is kind. I have been there about four times and the food is great and looks better than the pictures online. I believe the lime margarita mix is not my favorite, The mango was outstanding. There are other flavors too. Great parking on weekdays, even for handicapped people. In nice weather, the patio is a fun place to eat. The waitress almost never messes up our large group order, and is flexible and lets people pay that need to leave earlier than the group. Prices are similar to other TX-Mex places in downtown Lawrence.
