This is easily the best Mexican food I've had in years. We used to live in Texas, but since we moved to Massachusetts the Mexican food is sorely lacking. I figured this would be ok, nothing special but I was so wrong. This was absolutely wonderful!

A friend and I dined at Molcajetes for the first time yesterday. It was amazing! Wonderful food and great service. We will definitely be back. Of all the Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in Lawrence, Molcajetes is now my favorite.

The food was amazing and filling, I had leftovers, to start. Like every Mexican restaurant should have is free chips and salsa. The only reason I only gave a four instead of a five for service is that it wasn't memorable in any way. Lastly it was large enough, but I'm pretty sure it had more seating for overflow or party's. Definitely a checkout if you want inexpensive and to not eat fast food. That reminds me, the food was on our table super quickly and steaming...
