Awesome little pub we came across while in Lawrence. 2 of us got the 4-piece chicken Sunday special and it was delicious! Service was awesome and the atmosphere was perfect for a small pub.

We were at Murfs when the crowd was small. Everyone was watching baseball. We enjoyed burgers that were well cooked. The waitress made sure we were happy with our food and refilled drinks as often as needed. We had a good experience and would go back when we return in the future!

I've never eaten there, but it always smells good, and the place is nice and clean, so I may try it sometime. The drinks are great, reasonably priced, and the bartender's are super nice.
I go for the comedy show on Saturday night. It's an open mic situation that you sign up for, so some days are better than others. But it's such a fun, friendly atmosphere, it's a pretty comfortable place for a new comic to try some bits. The host is great! Definitely directs the flow of the show well, and keeps the energy up.
He also does a raffle for the audience members! (Pretty sure it's because... 1-He loves giving away awesome things he finds at Menards, 2- He owns stock in Menards and he's pushing the brand, or... 3- He's secretly dropping hints that Menards should sponsor comedy night. They definitely get a shout out every week. One of the three f'sure.) ?
Best bar in Lawrence. Go on a Saturday some time. Maybe go around 9:30-10pm. Maybe watch the comedy open mic. They have ketel one.

I normally don't post reviews, but honestly this is the worst place I've ever eaten in my entire life. The food also made me sick and I had to go to bed early. They forgot the appetizer. And the food was absolutely horrible and cold. We will not be back. And pricey for what you get a chicken patty from a box with a slice of cheese and undercooked.
