You need to go to the counter and order before sitting down. I know the older place did that, but there was zero direction (signs or employees) as far as the newer location. Still pretty great pizza and a good beer selection too.

Seth cooks up a mean slice of ZA!! Cool co-workers too. Love hanging outside on the patio and people watching while we eat. Love Lawrence, this is a must-eat staple on Mass, then hit up the thrift store across the street (3 levels) and support the other local shops. Great way to spend a morning, afternoon or evening. Lots of good eats and local shops in Lawrence!

In 2021 my friend had just returned back from lunch and was sitting in his car behind Papa Kenos and was getting ready to leave when a man came out of the back of the business and put a pizza in a delivery bag on the passenger side of their vehicle and slammed their door into my friends car.My friend said something to the delivery driver who could care less and there was a heated verbal exchange. At some point the delivery driver told my friend to get out of his car if he didn't have a gun. There were 2 women standing close so he got out of his car and went to the back and faced the delivery driver. The delivery driver grabbed my friends shirt and proceeded to land a blow to his left side of his ear causing emergency care for a cut requiring stitches and causing a concussion. The manager of Papa Kenos Daniel Luckey came out and talked to him and said that the driver looks like someone who works their but it is not the same guy. This business and their management will never ever get my business again. Careless employees and lying managers like Dan Luckey. Dan's father is a minister you would think he would have brought him up right but sadly not.

I DO love me some local pizza! Papa Kenos was just a short walk from my hotel, so off I went. Very friendly staff, great small pizzeria feel and their thin crust pizza really hit the spot. A little TOO much! I meant to take half of it to the hotel for later.... I left empty-handed, but with a very full stomach!

Some of the best za in Lawrence. Single slices as big as your face for less than $6! They have plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown with plenty of parking around.

Great, liked you could get a large slice of pizza with out buying whole pizza. They have beer on tap and well drinks as well. They give college people with ID and little price break.
