Truly the best Chinese restaurant in town, and one of the best in general in Lawrence. The food, the atmosphere, the workers, all perfect. And the workers know me too because of how much I frequent the establishment
So my ex and I used to come here throughout our relationship, from 2018 to I think 2022, when they were only doing order pickups. I hope to come back soon to try their delicious authentic food. I tried the Chong Qing spicy beef in March/April, it was just like I remembered, spicy and delicious. The last time I came I think in July, the beef was cut differently, like long strips instead of the squared flat chunks and not as flavorful- but still pretty good. I guess my only suggestion...
The Red Pepper is the best Chinese restaurant in Lawrence, they serve traditional Chinese food. I like this restaurant very much and I have been coming here for several years. The restaurant is clean and the waitstaff is polite and very enthusiastic. Most importantly, and the key reason I keep coming back, is this place provides delicious food.
