In town for a few days from TX. Had the flaming pig and it was excellent. Also tried a bowl of chili which was rich and filling. But not enough to keep me from trying the bread pudding and peach cheesecake. Loved everything. Really enjoyed the owners view on TX BBQ being better than

Wide selection of upgraded sandwiches. The food is excellent or they won't serve it. Cooked fresh while you wait. Pasta salad & brownies, etc are made in house.

Having a frustrating day of responsibilities, we decided to stop by this place. A quaint place that smells good when you walk in, the food matched the smell, for sure made with love! Also very nice and accommodating staff! Will definitely be coming back?

Cozy restaurant with an amazing variety of items. Had the daily special (baked potato with pot roast). It was FANTASTIC. Definitely a place worth coming back to try more of their items. The owner was working the counter when we were there & she was able to explain her ingredients accurately so we knew our food allergy wasn’t going to be an issue.

Because I cannot respond to your message - it was how and when this moment occurred, and your lack of care to come over and apologize for such an abrupt service moment and oversight. These moments matter, boo. And you can discount items in these moments because you’re in charge! Let’s say you did 20% on a $13 sandwich- $2.50, less than 3 bucks as a sign of courtesy - an acknowledgement of my patronage over all these years. Tsk tsk. ?

Walked in for the first time with my partner, and we were met by a bunch of plants and cute city and license plate decor in the lobby. The chef was the only one working at the time, but she was quick at getting us our food. We got the Italian and the B.A.T.H. sandwiches, as well as tried the clam chowder and desserts of the day. The food was all delicious and we will definitely come back again. No wonder this place was rated #1 in Lawrence!
Super cool owner/operator who at least tries to remember everyone's name upon return. I highly recommend the Gyro and zomg, the pasta salad. I couldn't stop eating the pasta salad, I nearly licked the bowl. Cozy little place in a strip mall, nice tables, comfy chairs and live plants give the place a welcome feeling.

This place is fabulous! They catered an event we had for the work, and not only did the sandwiches arrive hot, they were so delicious! So many different options for all, including those with food allergies. And the desserts, chefs kiss! Would recommend to anyone that lives or visits Lawrence. Well done!!!!
