It's kansas city. 5 stars for BBQ is a tall order.
Id love to come back and change after I've ate everywhere else. This was as good or better than all the high end gas station start-ups near downtown (Jim's, jack shack, Joe's, etc). Highly recommended. The spicy sauce is on par with Rosedales.

My wife and I took our kids and grandkids to have barbecue after church at Stanley James we have heard so many good things about this place and finally made our way out there to give it a try. Our oldest granddaughter has celiac and is very strict gluten-free. They accommodated her situation with kindness and were very thorough in making sure it was gluten-free. The food was fantastic and I would highly recommend this to anyone. great barbecue well done, Jordan.

When you first pull up you notice that it's a gas station, but when you go inside it's a full service gas station and a fantastic BBQ joint! Prices are incredibly fair, the flavor is fantastic. Certainly recommend Burntend, brisket and pulled pork. When ordering fries, be prepared to receive more than you anticipated. I love it when places do that! The barbecue sauce dispensers are more fun than they should be. Lol. They are utters, so you can squeeze out your extra...
