Unless you’re picking up an online order, I wouldn’t bother with this store. I’ve been twice and twice the staff couldn’t be bothered to offer a minimal amount of attention to a customer who’d have the nerve to attempt an order at the counter rather than online.

I ordered delivery via DoorDash this afternoon. I had a rough night with my toddler and I really needed this (in a first world kinda way, of course). I didn’t receive my coffee by accident, it was left out of the bag when the Dasher picked it up. Not only did DoorDash credit me more than what the item cost, a Starbucks employee wrote me a sweet note and gave me a little gift card when I reordered. Thank you for brightening my day with your kindness!! This is a much needed dopamine boost <3
Just love all the employees because they r all so inviting to the store. So, far my favorite Starbucks in Lawrence. Genesis is the most wonderful employee that I have interacted with.

I’m a frequent flyer of Starbucks and most generally have no complaints; however, my experience with the Starbucks on Mass Street today was very poor. I’m currently at the ER with my daughter so my son went to pick up a large iced chai, medium milk with no ice, blueberry muffin warmed and what I thought was red velvet loaf warmed. The iced chai had no ice and was on the thicker side and extremely sweet, the blueberry muffin was visibly old and the “red velvet loaf” was visibly old, hard and anything but warm and the milk was soured. My son didn’t open the packages to look in at them nor did he taste test my chai or the milk before he left. I called Starbucks to let them know my experience and was told they’d forward my complaint on and told me that if I came right in there they would give me new stuff. I explained that I couldn’t go this instant because I was in the ER with my daughter and was told that in that case nothing could be done. Not an after you get out of the ER we can make it right but a straight in that case nothing can be done. I told her if she was unwilling to work with me since I was in the ER then they would lose my business. She didn’t seem to care which is no surprise based on her oh well attitude.
