Crappy meat and prices have gone way up. Apple grande is back, but not made like they used to. Very few if any crushed red hot candies on top. Taco burgers are good and sauces are good. Taco John's has been in Lawrence for AT LEAST 30 years maybe 40. Menu has recently gotten way more modern and interesting.

If your trying to save time don't use the app for this location they don't start the order in till they see you in the restaurant. It became an issue when I went to pick up my food, I had to show them the order on my phone(app) because the order didn't show up on their end.
Just come in person and save the headache.
Other than that food was good.

Quick, hot, and always made for me exactly how i like my meals there! Very personable and they always remember my order and recognize me every single time there! Only place i like there lemonade as well on a long hot summer day. The potato oles are #1 favorite in my town thats the only pkace u can order those and u can order them without salt**. Recommend it for lunch anyday of the week forsure!
