Nice, cool looking place. I ordered the classic burger and ordered it medium done. It came to me raw. No kidding, the patty was raw. I said something about it and the only thing I got in response was “thanks”. I didn’t have time to tarry , because I was on a tight schedule. Check your burger before you bite into it to prevent a surprise. The condiment bar is downright nasty. Also, 22.00 for a hamburger and fries is too much (and I couldn’t eat it which made it worse).

What’s this “hospitality fee” that was added, post-sales tax and without a mention, to our bill? With tip, we paid over $46 for two veggie burgers, an order of fries and an iced tea. The burgers were good but we will not be back to be taken advantage of again.

Dinner last night at the Burger Stand at the Casbah. We had a burger that we customized huge burger cooked perfectly. I added some spicy hot habanero relish. I got the side of cheese, bacon fries, and it was enough to feed four people and my buddy got fries and a beer. I got a Butterfinger milkshake. Everything was really great and not having things like normal mayonnaise. I like it.

The fire burger was absolutely phenomenal, however, the hidden 15% hospitality fee(post tax) is ridiculous, especially for a party of two ,during off hours and not interacting with the staff outside of ordering(and tipping) at the

This place is way over priced.. especially for a college town. The portions and quality are not even relatively reasonable.
Stopped on after St Patrick's Day parade. Has fish and chips that were amazing but no malt vinegar ? on the most appropriate day of the year to eat fish and chips! Lol. Otherwise, it was actually a great dining experience even though it super

Service was slow, had to catch our waitress several times for more drinks, as she walked by our table. Love the dollar bill idea though. Great food.

There is something here for everyone regardless of how much you like burgers! They have a fantastic chicken sandwich, delicious fries (I recommend their truffle fries, but you truly cannot go wrong with whichever fries you order), and their alcoholic milkshakes are a must-try for anyone in LFK.

My favorite place in Lawrence Ks for a burger, fries and malt! There may be better places in town, but I haven't found them!
