We had the pleasure of breakfast this morning at the Roost. The staff was wonderful, the food was excellent and we took some delicious whole bean coffee home with us. Definitely worth a stop for a meal or coffee❤️ the benny (eggs Benedict) was out of this world, and the homemade habanero peach jelly was fantastic!!!!

If you want the perfect cup of coffee, Sue will have it dialed in for you. My wife and I haven’t had a bad breakfast at the Roost with so many options it’s truly impressive that the cooks keep pumping out the best breakfast options in town. Great atmosphere makes this another Lawrence MUST go to spot. Excellent food coffee drinks service and atmosphere. A Lawrence original.

I’ve loved this place place since the first time I had it some years ago. The Biscuits and Gravy is my favorite but they have good coffee too, among other dishes and they are always welcoming and super friendly. Only caveat is they don’t have a ton of seating so be prepared to wait as many people come here. That being said it’s worth the wait!

It was so nice. Owners seemed so I love which i admire. Coffee was amazing and the potato’s where to die for. You should definitely get some pastries
Omelette was served hot and was actually very good but the other two items on my plate, potatoes and sourdough toast were both served cold. This was on a weekday morning and the place was not busy. I also ordered a cafe au lait that was not hot just lukewarm. This is usually a very solid place to have breakfast so I was disappointed in my order.

Cute place. Nice vibe. Terrible Coffee. The color looks like tea, no taste, watered-down. I tried each flavor and they were all the same. Def won't return for coffee.

Vegetarian options: They most definitely have different options, which is what drew me in anyway
Dietary restrictions: They're pretty attentive when you say you're looking for food that's vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free
