Stopped in for lunch yesterday. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. First time I have been to a Torchy's Tacos. I selected the Trailer Trash Taco which their menu describes as: FRIED CHICKEN, GREEN CHILES, LETTUCE, PICO DE GALLO & CHEDDAR JACK CHEESE WITH POBLANO SAUCE ON A FLOUR TORTILLA. "GET IT TRASHY" - TAKE OFF THE LETTUCE & ADD QUESO. I choose to get it "Trashy". The taco wasn't too bad, but could have used a bit more flavor in the chicken. I also had a side of green chili queso and chips. The portion size is large and plenty to share. I will definitely stop in again, as they have a lot of interesting tacos to select from, that I would like to try.

2nd time at this location and overall a decent quiet experience. Nothing amazing or awful. Very slow for 11:30 on a Monday. Ordered the brushfire (go to) and a crossroads. My daughter had the fried avocado taco which is her new fave. Food came out fast and was hot and fresh. Something about the Diablo sauce is different than back In Colorado. Nice spot for lunch during the week.

Came in the other day around 3:30 and ordered to go. There was only one other person in the restaurant. Waited around ten minutes for my two tacos and queso.... one didn't have all the toppings it comes with and the other the shrimp didn't seem cooked all the way. On the contrary, their food is usually good... but have noticed that it's quality is going down hill since it's opening.

Came here 3 days in a row since they were giving out free taco's with chips and queso. Experience was great every time. Food was always quick even though they were super busy and workers were very welcoming. My favorite tacos are the crossroads and the baja shrimp in case you can't decide what to order. Will definitely come back.

My roommates and I come here 3 times a week on average. The atmosphere is incredible and the tacos of the month are literal fire!!! Can't wait for the chili wagon to come back!! The employees and management are like family. Shout out to Tina she's the bomb!!!!! Couldn't recommend this place more for a Taco! If I could put 100 stars I would! THANK YOU TORCHY'S FOR BEING DAMN GOOD!!!

I really love this taco place!! I always get the fried avocado and the chips and queso and it fills me up right away. I am also a rewards member so the point system is a great plus. I go at least once a week and everytime the manager gives us coupons which makes it easier on the wallet and makes me come back again!

I haven't been here in a while and had been thinking about the green chili pork tacos for a while. Im from the southwest and miss Hatch green chili. They have always been great but todays really missed the mark. The tacos were filled with primarily pork....and a lot of it. It didn't have much flavor, and no taste of the Hatch green or cilantro. Please go back and make the like you used to! They were great! And so was the service, as always......

My friends and I love this place! The tacos are amazing, especially Mr. Orange if you are a salmon fan. I can never pick which tacos I want, because I always want them ALL!! The torchy tini is amazing too. Great service and nicest people.
Best and biggest tacos in town, very consistent high quality fresh food, upbeat and generous staff. We need more restaurants like this in Lawrence for sure...I used to come about every month, now I average twice a week...the Baja shrimp and the trailer park are to die for!

Interestingsly enough, the corporate catch phrase of "damn good" is surprisingly apt. Excellent customer service (shout out to Tina from corporate especially), way better quality than Chipotle, and great portions. Highly recommended. PS: for pro tip I highly recommend the secret menu. Tell them Big D sent you.

The queso is very good and we also got the mofaux, fried avocado and the green Chile pork. All three were good, but the fried avocado is amazing! They are big tacos for the street style that I normally see. Definitely an upgrade from when they first opened!

Came for free taco and queso week and was amazed with how good everything was! Was greeted by several welcoming faces when I walked in and was impressed with how friendly they were to each and every customer. Loved the trailer park taco and I also got the crossroads. Definitely changed my view on this place for the better! I'll be recommending and coming back!

This is my go to lunch spot. The food is delicious, the customer service is outstanding, and they keep it super clean. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards program. You get a free quest and chips for doing it. I wish I would have signed up sooner. If you need a quick lunch or delicious dinner come to Torchys!
