It was my husband’s and my first time coming here, and it definitely won’t be our last. Coffee is made well, breakfast foods aren’t just heated up in a microwave but actually made with thought, and the pastries are original. Not to mention, the little things staff did to give customers the best experience, such as coming to them at the drive-thru to get double orders if the line became too long, or offering advice/info on drinks prior to ordering. Plus, staff seem like they truly enjoy working there. Overall, really good experience.

It's hard to pick a favorite Uplift location - both locations have incredible baristas, great seating, and of course AMAZING food & drinks. But their 6th street location is so convenient for me and central to where I work and live, and as a small business owner with only a home office, I schedule nearly all of my client meetings there!
I used to love coming here for breakfast. Then they switched from the delightful, soft and buttery croissants to these dry, big back biscuits for their breakfast sandwiches. The croissants were the perfect sandwich bread. I'd rather them keep the biscuits and offer some biscuits and gravy and go back to the croissant sandwiches. Drinks are good and staff is usually friendly. The app and rewards are a little funky but regardless, support local!

We hired the Uplift Coffee Truck for our daughter's graduation party! It was the perfect addition to the party, a huge hit with our guests and their service was excellent! We had a combined party for four graduates - so they were very busy! They handled the traffic with ease and with amazing customer service! Would highly recommend them to cater your next event! Stopped in here on the advice of our daughter in law and so happy we did. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the coffee was fresh, hot and delicious and the breakfast sandwich was outstanding. Truly fresh and homemade all the way. So refreshing to buy a a coffee shop snack that hasn’t been just unwrapped and popped into a microwave. Definitively my go-to coffee shop in Lawrence from now on!

I love this nearby coffee shop and appreciate getting coffee from a local business. Although when it’s busy, they tend to not steam the milk long enough and I have now gotten three lattes that were lukewarm at best. I mentioned it to them last time and hope they can work on serving a hotter latte. Thanks!

The shop on 6th Street is a small, clean friendly place. It has great coffee and tasty baked goods. The scramble bowl was not what I was expecting as it was quite small. But I'll try the quiche next time.
