Awful, burger was very greasy had no flavor. For the price was very small. The lettuce was even greasy. I couldnt eat it. All the tables were very dirty, salt, bread crumbs, condiments on tables. Im talking All the tables. We were the only customers there at the time. Window ledges were dust covered, windows were dirty. Soda area was also nasty. Makes you wonder as dirty as the dining area is, how bad is the kitchen area. Very Very disappointed. I wont ever be back and will not recommend this Wahlburgs to anyone. I would say, stay away from this one.

We'd seen this place multiple times while shopping at HyVee and yesterday decided to give it a try for lunch. Yuck! Just wasn't even edible. I ordered my burger medium well but it arrived rare! So rare that it was just barely warm. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on the cooking but what little bit I tried to eat just wasn't good. My wife got the "Sloppy Joe" and it arrived with the same story, wasn't edible. We didn't send it back, just ate what we could, learned our lesson, and left. We won't go back. And, oh, her Sloppy Joe, my hamburger, and two glasses of water were $27.00!When a restaurant is empty, there's a reason.A note to HyVee .... This place is taking down your fine reputation!

I was quite happy with my food. I ordered the fiesta burger, and the string onion rings. The food tastes great, along with excellent customer service. It was a little pricey at $20, but I will definitely be eating here again.

Pathetic food for the price. Don't waste your time. This is the only burger I've ever had that I would say was actually bad. Most of the time when you eat a burger that isn't really good it's at least ok. Not this one. It was actually unpleasant to eat.I ordered a BBQ bacon cheeseburger for $14. It's supposed to come with bacon, white cheddar, bbq sauce, avocado spread, and jalapenos. It came out 15 minutes later overcooked with no avocado or jalapeno so I returned it. Five minutes later it came back with avocado, but no jalapeno. When I flagged down a worker she told me they're out of jalapenos. Why not tell me that when I ordered or when it was returned? And how the heck are you out of jalapenos when your kitchen is 50 feet from the jalapenos in the produce department of the grocery store you're already inside of?The only positive was that the sweet potato tots were good.

It's a restaurant in a grocery store! Food was great. The Staff was really friendly with helpfully suggestions. A bit pricey for burgers, but I think it was worth it. My wife loved her P.B & J burger. The Wahl-epeno burger was delicious. It's a great experience!!

So..all I bought was a chocolate shake and Mac and cheese. It took them 15 minutes to make my chocolate shake. Fifteen...minutes. and it was watery (zero thickness), I brought this to their attention and they agreed it didn't look right and maybe something was wrong with their machine. So they remade it but HOW did they not see how runny it was in the first place? Do you just make it without looking at it? How did you physically bring it to me not seeing it was soup? And then honestly I can't even remember how I felt about the Mac and cheese. It was that memorable. Nothingness. I remember not finishing it and feeling unsatisfied. The only reason they get 2 stars is the staff still seemed friendly enough and they did remake my ($7.) shake and it was ok.

The food was not that great. Very expensive for what you get. Two burgers and fries cost over $32. No drinks ordered, only water. We can go to McDonald's and get the same quality of meal for 1/4 of the cost. We will not be returning.
We love Wahlburger! My favorite one is the PB and J burger.

For some odd reason, I like the Wahlberg bunch. So much so that I wanted to try this little joint. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time so when a friend suggested it and I was more than happy to accept the offer. This restaurant is tucked away inside a big Hy-Vee store. It's easy enough to find but you kinda have to know where you are going. There are plenty of booths and tables and the atmosphere is very nice, clean and well lit. It is an inviting space and very comfortable. The tricky thing is there is not much direction. My friend and I got a booth and we waited to anyone taking orders or serving. Nope, not so much. This is the type of place where you order at the counter and that is fine. I just wished there was signage or something to let people know. There were two guys behind the counter. One was prepping and one was cooking. They were very nice and helpful. We explained that we had never been here before and we asked for their suggestions. They had sampled nearly everything on the menu and that helped us a great deal. I got the supermelt and it was delicious. Yummy cheeses, carmelized onions, thick beef patties and mustard. Delicious. My friend got the fiesta burger and he said it was very good. We ordered a side of onion rings and they were DIVINE. I liked the onion rings much more than the fries. The counter guys were great and wanted to know how we wanted our burgers, what did we want to add. They made sure we were taken care of while we where there. It was Mother's Day so parking was a challenge but, generally, this is not a problem. Easy access and friendly staff. I just wish there were more signs telling people where to go and what to do. Even a table tent would help out. Bottom line: I'll be back!

We went there last night for dinner. The previous restaurant at that location in the Hy-Vee was a full service restaurant with a full bar. A Yelp review of the Wahlburger said it too offers full service. Perhaps it originally did, but not now. When no one came to our table to take our order, I walked up to the bar to ask about service. He told me that there is none at all. Although the restaurant does still have a bar, there is no table service at all. The restaurant operates as a fast food restaurant. You have to go to a counter inside the supermarket to place your order. You pay there, and then you bring the food to your table yourself. At the bar inside the restaurant, I asked if he could provide us with wine. It was a Saturday night, and we wanted wine with our dinner. He said the one and only bartender had called in sick. The guy behind the counter said he could serve us beer, but not wine. I don't understand why they need a bartender to serve wine, but not beer. We left for another restaurant located in the same parking lot. I was looking forward to Wahlburger and was very disappointed. The family that founded the chain is from Dorchester, a suburb of Boston. I too am originally from Dorchester and was looking forward to trying a restaurant having that origin. Also a member of that family is a famous movie star. Some of the salads on the menu sound interesting. Perhaps I will try it one day for lunch.
