My daughters and I have lunch at Wheatfields each week. I always look forward to trying the sandwich special and have never been disappointed. But the meatball sub this week was probably my favorite so far. Once I added a cinnamon roll latte and a slice of the pumpkin mousse cake, it was a perfect lunch.

WOW was this place was that good!!! The bread omg and just the turkey and cranberry amazing definitely will be back! The atmosphere to was so amazing!!! Smells so good in there! We are from out of town coming for the KU game so we had no expectations for WheatFields, when we come back to Lawrence this is the spot we will come too first!!

Sandwiches were big and delicious ... as always❣️, so couldn't wait to show it to my friend from KC!
However, the staff ruined the entire experience. 😰 She got scolded for standing at the Wrong counter to order her sandwich!! Then when we went to order some pastries on the way out, it seemed like they couldn't wait to hurry up and GET OUT!! 😡 Very rude & dismissive behavior. I was truly embarrassed that I had told my friend what an awesome bakery...
