The wine was good, the tenderloin steak was the toughest I’ve ever had. The stuffed mushrooms were small and pointless. Appetizers were very small portions, maybe for three people max.

This is our favorite place for happy hour and special occasions. Incredible menu, impeccable service, always creative delicious and enjoyable. True hospitality and fine dining without the fuss. Try the happy hour appetizers (amazing coconut shrimp, delicious burrata plate, Mediterranean meatballs, seasonal risotto balls, Bavarian pretzels and more). Great cocktail specials and perfect wine pairings. Eclectic menu. The most delicious pork chop, pork Raghu with pappardelle, decadent steaks, and so much more! Delicious burgers, a bahn mi, fish tacos-something for everyone. Huge decadent desserts! Enjoy!

Good overall, but I knocked a star because I ordered a mimosa and it was 80% juice. Not what you’d expect when wine is literally part of their name. But I’d still recommend this place if you’re in the area and wanting upscale American cuisine.

I think this place has outstanding food, but the service could be faster. While I was walking in there was three people complaining about not being able to find their server, and I got that same treatment for half of my dining experience.
Listen here people.
I'm approaching my THIRD DECADE in the restaurant industry. I've worked every position starting at dishwasher at 14 to operations at a regional level in that time.
I've had Michelin stars. I've had the newest greatest thing.
THIS place is top tier, and I did not expect it. I'm In town for a few weeks, and I'm thinking about coming back with my wife once my contract is done so I can show her what I'm talking about. I'm thinking about coming back TOMORROW.
Food, service, atmosphere - all on point. I just finished a steak that was probably the most on point cook I've ever had, including what I cook for myself.
.
All I can say is, eat here. I'm shook and if the coasts come here they'll love it too.
(I'm sorry to the Bartender, twice I haven't gotten his name and his service is immaculate. Owners, it's 11/18 at 8 pm. You can't afford to keep him, but you can ask him to train someone before he graduates. You can also check the schedule and figure out who it was).
Edit - I got back to my hotel, still all fat and satisfied. Forgot to mention, I had a 2 glasses of Malbec and tbk

Wonderful service and the food was excellent. I got steak with frites and it was perfectly cooked and very good fries.
We did brunch, which was prettry good - the Mimosa's were on the sweeter side, otherthan that , it was tasty waffels, biscuits and gravy. Looking forward to returing and having dinner.
The wait was so long for every single thing that was ordered. From one easy drink to an app to the meal. Everything took forever to get.
Food took over an hour with no communication from server as to why or when it would be coming. Roasted vegetables were too salty.

Absolutely the worst food & service we have experienced recently. It took forever for her to take our order and get our drinks. We asked for a taste of 2 wines we can't decide between and we weren't told that was a $4 extra charge. My beef tenderloin was medium and I ordered raw, it was also flavorless and cold. All of the 5 meals we ordered were exactly the same. We talked to the manager who didn't care about our experience.
Everything we had to order was delicious. We had calamari, chefs hummus, lo mein, boars ragu, and mac and cheese. Try the 6 layer chocolate cake too!! I feel like I can order anything from this menu and be satisfied.
have had several times of visit to wine dive+kitchen, and I used to love dock breast in the entrees. But these few time I have experience a dramatic drop of food quality. I asked for midden rare but it came out with a overcooked duck. Very disappointed.
Daniel makes this place shine! We loved our meal tonight, from appetizers to desserts! Thanks so much for bringing so much delight to our palates with the incredible flavors and the delightful ambiance.

Wine Dive + Kitchen in Lawrence is a beautiful and spotless restaurant — definitely a place that feels inviting from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is classy yet relaxed, and it’s clear they have a very loyal clientele who love coming here. Lily, the bartender, was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the wine list. I went with a Rosé from Italy that was crisp and refreshing, and their overall wine selection is solid.
For food, I started with the French onion soup, which unfortunately missed the mark for me — it lacked the depth and richness I was hoping for. I ordered the Jerked Duck as my main dish, and while it took a little longer than expected to arrive (especially considering the restaurant wasn’t busy), the flavors were on point. The duck was seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of spice. The plantain was cooked beautifully — tender with great texture — but the Brussels sprouts were underseasoned and missing that satisfying crunch.
Overall, it’s a lovely place with great service, a nice wine selection, and clearly a strong following. With a few adjustments in the kitchen, it could easily live up to the high expectations its reputation sets.
