A landmark of Lawrence, and for good reason. They have the best subs in town!

I miss Yellow Sub, having moved to the east coast several years ago and always pick up a sandwich when I am back in town. Can’t beat the bread! ❤️

Best subs in the world. Locally owned and in business for... 50 years? Check out the murals on the walls and the pinball.

Spent 30 dollars for one and a half sandwiches. Waited about 15 minutes, so I'm really hoping it will be good. The half sandwich had hardly anything on it, while the whole sandwich (cheesesteak sub) was the single dryest thing I've eaten in my life. I couldn't finish it because it felt like sand, and tasted terrible. Won't ever see me walking in there again.

i love the bread they use here. its soft and fresh. the meatless masterpiece was great. super cheesy and tasted healthy. gonna be coming back to try out the other subs!

This is one of those Lawrence treasures.
If you like a delicious sub sandwich I highly recommend checking the place out. Yes, there can be a bit of a wait for your food, but that's because they are making it hot and fresh.

They just don't make the sandwiches like they used to. Super skimpy on the meat. I got a yellow sub it used to be my favorite but not anymore. They only put two pieces of turkey two pieces of ham and two pieces of roast beef along with two pieces of bacon and barely any cheese. This new generation needs to be trained on sandwiches and customer satisfaction! Inflation shouldn't make your business raise prices then cut back on quality and quantity!!!

I really hate being the one against the grain here, maybe I just caught this place on a bad night but the food was really bland almost no flavor at all.

The food looked really good but it tasted to me like I threw a few days old sandwich together at home, really disappointing.

The salad looked really good as well but had very little flavor compared to other Caesar salads I’ve had before.

One of my favorite sub-locations! I never fail to get horrible service and quality from the big names like Subway and Jimmy John's. But it's always top-notch at Yellow Sub/Planet Sub! My go-to is the creamy crab, but the beefeater is equally good. #sub #sandwich #foodie

The kids' meals work perfectly for my kids. They're a great value and hit the spot! #familyfriendly #kidsmeal #yum

Yellow sub is at the top of our list when getting food out, normally I would give them 5 stars, however the sandwich I ordered this past week was a very big disappointment. It was practically all bread with very little inside. Essentially over priced bread. Hopefully this will never happen again!
I would truly hate to find another place to get a great sandwich.

I got the “green turkey” sub and it made me so sick I couldn’t eat anything for at least 24 hours. I had to pick the sandwich apart and I found that the tomatoes, guac, AND lettuce were brown. That explains it. They should probably close down..
